Range Safety Restrictions:
* Maximum allowed caliber: 9x19mm / 9mm Para due to limit of dynamic bullet trap
* No Appendix Carry allowed (Rule 8.5.1.14 of the 2026 IDPA Rulebook)
* SWIPING IS ALWAYS DQ - The exceptions 2.2.1.1 of the 2026 IDPA Rulebook does not apply).
* DQ for all accidental shots also on props; including bulkheads and their jambs within 5 meters. (Match Administration Rules M-1.6.7)
1) Indemnity:
I acknowledge and confirm that my use of the training facilities and premises will be entirely at my own risk and I hereby agree to abide by the Instructor/IDPA Safety Officer's instructions
and rules which I declare to be fully binding upon me.
I herewith indemnify and shall keep indemnified IDPA Club Zürich, its board members, members, trainers, agents, partners or servants and hold each of them harmless from
and against all and any claims, loss demands, liability, cost and expenses of whatsoever nature (including legal cost) which may be brought against IDPA Club Zürich
and the aforesaid persons by any person whomsoever by any act or omission of whatsoever nature and whether amounting to negligence or otherwise on my part and/or breach by me of any
of the applicable range rules and/ or use of the training facilities and/or premises.
I acknowledge that I will have no claims whether for damage or otherwise (and whether in derelict or contract) against IDPA Club Zürich or any of its board members,
members, trainers, agents, partners or servants arising out of injury or loss of life and/or property damage and whether caused by the negligence of IDPA Club Zürich
or any of the aforesaid persons, or as a result of any defective firearm or ammunition having been issued to me and I herewith irrevocably waive and abandon all such claims.
I further confirm that this waiver will be binding on my estate, executors, dependents or assignees and that IDPA Club Zürich and the aforesaid persons are only obliged
to exercise a reasonable duty of care towards me.
2) Cancellation Once registered, cancellation with partial or full refund by the participant is only possible for reasons of ‘force majeure’ such as e.g.
grave illness or accident.
For any refund, corresponding proof will have to be presented such as e.g. medical certificates or police records that clearly show that the participant could
not anticipate the situation and he or she is prevented from participating beyond any doubt.
IDPA Club Zürich has to be notified in writing with all required documentation latest 30 days prior to event start.
Later than that, no refund is possible. If and to what amount a refund is granted remains in any case a decision by IDPA Club Zürich and cannot be claimed in any way and for any reason.
Cancellation by IDPA Club Zürich is possible at any time for violation of safety rules or gross misconduct such as for example:
- posing a safety risk to oneself or any other person
- demonstrating gravely undisciplined behavior such as disobeying the safety officers, violating the code of conduct of IDPA or violating range rules.
In this case, no refund whatever is possible.
