Welcome to the 2026 Giving Thanks to Veterans Charity Match at Palmetto Gun Club!
We are proud to host this special event in support of Purple Heart Homes, with 100% of net proceeds going directly to the cause. Over the past three years, this match has raised more than $50,000 to assist disabled veterans in need of critical home accessibility modifications, disability accommodations, and employment support.
As this is a charity event, we kindly ask that refund requests not be made after July 31, 2026.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support. We look forward to seeing you on the range this November as we come together to honor and give back to our veterans!
Match Info:
This is a 9 stage (Warmup and 8 Scenario) Tier 2 match.
Equipment inspections will not be conducted; however, match staff reserve the right to enforce all rules at their discretion if any equipment appears to be out of compliance.
Competition Dates & Times:
Friday November 20th - Staff & Sponsored Competitors – Registration at 7AM, first shots 9AM
Saturday 21st - All other competitors.
Match Registration will be open at the following times
November 19th, 2026 3PM-5PM with priority given to staff registrants
November 20th, 2026 7AM – 830AM (priority given to staff registrants) and 3PM-5PM.
November 21st, 2026 7AM – 8AM and you MUST be registered by 8AM.
Match Fee - $125 Includes match registration and lunch.

2026 Giving Thanks to Veterans Charity Match Jersey
Shooters with an achieved level of novice or higher are welcome to compete in the following IDPA Divisions – SSP, CCP, ESP, CDP, CO, REV, BUG, and PCC.
All staff competitors please select staff and one other category. All other competitors, please select ONLY ONE subcategory.
All registration changes will be final on October 15th, 2026 at 9PM.
Refund Policy
As our primary match goal is to raise money for Purple Heart Homes benefitting disabled veterans, we respectfully must adhere to the following:
1. You can request a full refund of your registration until July 31st, 2026.
2. All refunds requested between August 1st and August 31st can receive 50% of the match fee.
3. There will be no refunds of any kind after August 31st, 2026
Squadding
1. Shooters will be automatically approved to squad in the order that they are registered.
2. Staff – We will squad you.
Please contact the match director for any specific requests and reasonable accommodation will be made to manage squads before registration changes lock.
Lodging
1. There are several hotels nearby in Summerville, SC. but at this time, there is no official match hotel.
2. Our club has 3 RV spaces with electric ONLY and those are $20 per space. We can also accommodate an additional 5 spaces for overnight camping or self contained RV parking free of charge. All are available on a first come first serve basis.
