FOP 113's 2026 2-Gun Competition

FOP #113 presents the 2026 2-Gun competition!
Get ready to test your skills with moving and shooting, weapon manipulation, and accuracy across 5 challenging stages. This fast-paced, individual 2-gun match rewards quick target engagement and confident, safe shooting from demanding positions.
SCHEDULE:
Match will take place on Saturday, October 17th
7:30 A.M. Gates open
7:30 A.M. – 8:30 A.M. Waivers signed
8:40 A.M. Safety Brief (mandatory for ALL shooters)
9:00 A.M. First Shots
Each shooter will run stages with one pistol and one rifle/PCC, engaging targets from various positions, props, and unsupported standing shots. Scoring will be Time Plus Points.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Rifle/PCC:
• Accurate rifle with sights, red dot, or LPVO.
• At least 2 magazines
• Chamber flag (required)
• Rifle sling (required)
Pistol:
• At least 2 magazines
• Belt mounted mag pouch
• Holster - rigid, belt mounted, outside-the-waistband (OWB)
Holster MUST securely enclose the gun from all sides and fully cover the trigger guard.
NO collapsible or race holsters permitted.
Eye and ear protection (mandatory)
• Required for all shooters and spectators
ROUND COUNT:
• 200 Pistol
• 200 Rifle/PCC
• Round counts are based on one (1) hit per steel target and two (2) hits per paper target unless otherwise •
specified in the stage brief. All stages are unlimited
HANDGUN
1. Minimum caliber: 9mm
2. Maximum caliber: .45ACP
3. Maximum bullet velocity: 1600 fps
4. Optical/electronic sight permitted.
5. Maximum magazine load-to capacity
6. Maximum magazine length: no
7. No frame mounted optics
8. Gas Pedals: no restrictions
10. Flashlights/lasers allowed
11. Magwells allowed
12. DA/SA guns equipped with a manual safety are not required to be decocked as long as the manual safety is applied. If the DA/SA gun only has a decocker but no manual safety, the hammer must be decocked before the start of the stage.
13. SAO guns must have manual safety applied before holstering/the start of the stage.
14. Magnums NOT allowed
RIFLE
1. Minimum caliber: 5.45x39
2. Maximum caliber: .308/7.62x51
3. Magazines that are capable of holding more than 30 rounds (including drums) are
allowed
5. Coupled magazines (side by side) are prohibited
6. Magwells: aftermarket or add-on magwells are prohibited, however lower receivers that
have built in flared magwells are allowed.
7. Muzzle Devices:
i. Suppressors allowed
ii. Muzzle brakes and flash hiders permitted
PISTOL CALIBER CARBINE (PCC)
1. Pistol Caliber Carbines fall within the rifle category for this competition (the PCC is not considered a handgun)
2. Suppressors allowed
FRT type triggers and full auto are not permitted in this competition.
SCORING:
• Scoring will be Time Plus Points
• Note: This match will generally follow RSO driven and briefed general rules for safety
FOOD
• Catered lunch will be provided for all shooters following the match in the FOP Lodge during the awards ceremony.
REFUNDS:
• If you're unable to attend, refund requests submitted by 10/14/2026 will be honored in full, less a $5 administrative fee.
No refunds will be issued after this date. However, you are welcome to transfer your registration to another participant at any time.
