F-Class – April 2026

F-Class is a shooting sport which originated in 1995. It was intended for those familiar with or interested in long range shooting, and is typically held at 600 to 1000 meters. Since 2019, FTRPA hosts a scaled down smallbore (.22LR) version of this match using targets to replicate distances of 600 and 1000 meters. Some match details:
* May be fired from prone or bench.
* A bipod or rifle rest is permitted, with optional rear support.
* Match is shot from 100 and 200 yard distances. Targets are A-50 @100yds and A-33 @200yds
* Each distance is allocated of 20 shots, for 40 shots total, singly loaded. Time limit is 30 minutes for each distance.
* Classes are prone or benchrest.
* Cost is $8.00 for just this shoot; $15 if shooting the Mini-Palma before.
* Held on the second Saturday of each month, April through October, weather and range conditions permitting.
The match begins after the Mini Palma is completed, about 10am.
