DPC - NTX STEEL CHALLENGE May 2026

Match Details:

You will need this code to enter the main gate at Dallas Pistol Club.
⏰ Registration: CLOSES 30 minutes before the 9am start time. Arrive earlier to check-in. Late shows will be dropped.
⏰ Safety Briefing: Held 15 minutes before start time—mandatory for all shooters, no exceptions.
⏰ Setup: Begins at 7.15am. To join the setup crew, email dpc-steelchallenger@dallaspistolclub.com ahead of match day.
❗❗❗NOTICE: Effective as of August 4th, 2025, Dallas Pistol Club will NOT be permitting any usage of the SIG-Sauer P320 and/or any and all variations thereof on DPC property. If you'd like to shoot at Dallas Pistol Club, please bring another gun or contact the Match Director if you'd like to use a loaner gun.❗❗❗
DPC is now affiliated with Steel Challenge, scores will be posted and count toward classification!
This match will feature stages from the Steel Challenge Championship, the West Coast Steel Championship, and other prestigious steel plate shooting events.
✅ Equipment Requirements:
Each match entry requires at least 125 rounds (assuming no misses—bring extra!) and access to 5 mags/speed loaders per firearm.
Holsters must meet SCSA equipment requirements, cover the trigger, and safely retain the firearm.
Holsters NOT PERMITTED: ❌ IWB (inside waistband) ❌ Shoulder holsters ❌ Thigh/drop-leg holsters
❌ Fanny packs ❌ Cross-draw holsters ❌ Serpa style holsters Match Directors reserve the right to approve holsters.
❗ Each squad must tear down their last stage to assist with the match.
Firearm Categories & Start Positions:
✅ Centerfire Pistol Divisions:
Carry Optics (CO) — Production (PROD) — Open (OPN) — Limited (LTD) — Limited Optics (LO) — Single Stack (SS) — Iron Sight Revolver (ISR) — Optical Sight Revolver (OSR)
Start Position: Firearm loaded and holstered, wrists above shoulders.
✅Rimfire Pistol & Rifle Divisions:
Rimfire Pistol Iron (RFPI) — Rimfire Pistol Open (RFPO) — Rimfire Rifle Iron (RFRI) — Rimfire Rifle Open (RFRO)
Start Position: Firearm loaded, muzzle pointed at the designated aiming plate.
❗ Mandatory: Case/bag for all rimfire divisions
❗ For RFRO/RFRI: A chamber flag/case/bag is required—Rimfire Rifles can ONLY be handled on the firing line.
❌Pistol Caliber Carbine: Not Permitted at Dallas Pistol Club.
Range Rules:
❗DPC operates as a "COLD" range.
❗Firearms may only be handled in designated safe areas or at the firing line under the direction of a Range Officer.
❗Ammunition and magazines may be handled anywhere EXCEPT in a safe area.
Match Fees - Cash Only
✨ Non-Member Fee: $35 ($30 + $5 range fee, includes mission count to SCSA)
Member Fees:
✨ Under 60: $15
✨ Senior (60–69): $10
✨ Super-Senior (70+): $5
✨ Lifetime Member: $0
✨ Additional guns: +$5 per gun
The Match Director may limit or disallow additional guns based on stage design or number of entries.
Designated Setup Crew or RSO Discount: MD’s discretion.
