DACSC: SFC Dustin Ard Commemorative Steel Challenge (4th Annual)

The DACSC is the 4th Annual steel shooting competition dedicated to Sergeant First Class Dustin Ard, a Green Beret who was KIA in 2019. All proceeds from this event will support the Special Forces Brotherhood and our communities. To learn more visit us at our website https://www.sfa43.org/
This match is a pistol-only Action Steel match scored using Time Plus. Stages will vary and consist of knock-down steel and static steel. Some stages will require movement, reloading, etc. Competitors are required to have a suitable belt and holster for their handgun, and it is recommended to have several spare magazines and a way to carry them securely.
There are only two divisions for this match:
Irons - Handgun with no optical sighting equipment, minimum caliber of 9mm, maximum caliber 45acp
Optics - Handgun with slide-mounted optical sight (red dot), minimum caliber of 9mm, maximum caliber 45acp
Restrictions include no frame-mounted optics, no aftermarket compensators. Factory compensator/barrel porting is allowed.
The match will have 9 stages with a minimum round count of around 300, it is recommended to bring at least 500 rounds.
FRGC operates as a "cold range" during match days. Be sure to arrive with your handgun unloaded. Handguns are required to be kept in-holster at all times unless at a safety table or under the direct supervision of a range officer. Safety tables will be provided for bagging/unbagging your handgun, handling of ammunition at a safety table is strictly prohibited.
Payment is required at time of registration and is required to select your squad position. If the match is not full, walk-on registrations may be allowed on match day, but squad assignments for walk-ons will be at the discretion of match registration staff.
As this match is a charity fundraising event, refunds will not be offered at any point. If you register and are unable to attend, please withdraw as normal, your registration fee is appreciated as a donation to the organization. All proceeds will go to serve local veterans and gold star families.
