CPW West Slope Shoot 2026

April 15 @ 5:00 pm - April 16 @ 9:00 pm

You are invited to participate in the 40th Annual West Slope Shoot hosted by Area 9.
Instructors / Range Officer Volunteers should plan to arrive at Cameo on April 15th by 11:00 AM to assist with stage setup, receive instruction on how to score using the tablets, and shoot the courses of fire for score. If possible, we need all of our instructors to help set up on the 15th and help score on the 16th.
Main Match Arrival time: April 16th, 8:00 am
Mandatory Briefing: 8:30 am
Shooting Begins: 9:00 am
All participants will register through PractiScore. The scoring program will calculate scores based on hit factor scoring.
There will be two choices under the “CLASS” selection section. It is VERY important that you select the correct one.
1) If you are an instructor / RO, helping with setup on April 15th, and running shooters on April 16th, select: “Instructor / RO shooting Staff Match Apr 15”.
2) If you are only coming to compete in the main match on April 16th and not helping the day before, select: “Competitor shooting the Main Match Apr 16”
In the “CATEGORIES” section, select the team that you will be competing with.
Everyone click “MAJOR” power factor, then click the “Register” button at the bottom of the page.
We will approve you and assign you randomly to your squad, which will be the squad you shoot with throughout the competition. You will not necessarily be shooting with your work area/team members. Individual scores will be averaged with your actual team at the end of the shoot to determine team results. Assigned squads will be provided prior to the competition.
Courses of Fire:
Two handgun stages
One shotgun stage
One bolt gun stage
One optional patrol rifle stage (scored individually, separate from the combined team scores)
Ammunition Requirements- Please bring the following ammunition per officer:
Bolt gun: 12 rounds
Shotgun: 10 rounds – Birdshot
Patrol rifle: 60 rounds
Handgun: 100 rounds minimum
This is the suggested round count for the day. If courses of fire are shot clean, you may shoot significantly less ammunition than listed.

Following the competition, lunch will be provided by Colorado Q, and the awards presentation will follow.
As always, this event is a great opportunity to train, compete, and connect with fellow commissioned officers from across the west slope.
We look forward to seeing you there!
