Copper Basin Sportsmans Club – Pistol Challenge
Welcome to the Copper Basin Sportsmans Club Pistol Challenge!
This is an outlaw-style pistol match designed to be a fun, relaxed environment for both experienced competitors and newer shooters looking to get into competition shooting. Expect approximately 80+ rounds across 4 stages using a Time Plus scoring system.
Stages may include:
Paper targets
Steel targets
Or a combination of both
This match is intended to be approachable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone involved. Whether you are chasing fast times or just looking to get some reps in with good people, we’re glad to have you out.
Important Match Information:
This is a COLD RANGE.
No loaded firearms are permitted anywhere on the range except when directed by the RO at the start of a stage.
Please ensure all firearms are unloaded before entering the range property.
Match registration/payment is CASH ONLY and will be collected at the range.
If this is your first time attending this match, please check in with the Match Director before the safety brief so we can get you brought up to speed on match flow, rules, and safety procedures.
Holsters are not required but are strongly encouraged.
If you do not have a holster, please bring a pistol bag or case to safely approach and leave the stage with your firearm.
Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCCs) are allowed.
No rifle calibers permitted.
Range Access:
The gate may appear closed upon arrival, but it will be unlocked.
Please close the gate behind you after entering to help keep the neighboring cattle off the range.

This is my first time setting up a match on PractiScore, so I appreciate everyone’s patience if there are any small mistakes or hiccups while I learn the system.
