CLONE - National Service Conditions Championship 2026 (DCRA) – Service Pistol (5/6 Sept)
NSCC (National Service Conditions Championships) has been an annual event up until 2019 for Service Conditions disciplines of Precision Rifle, Service Rifle and Service Pistol at the National Level run by the DCRA at Connaught Ranges near Ottawa. It is a Service Condition Championships with both Civilians and CAF / RCMP competing. The ORA will conduct NSCC at CFB Borden in 2025 as a DCRA sanctioned event.
Service Pistol Championship is a 2 Day event, and is shot in 11 matches, at distances of 5 metres to 35 metres on Langemark Range. It is both an individual and a 4 person team event. You can win awards both as an Individual, and as a Team.

Step 1: DCRA MEMBERSHIP
To participate in NSCC you need to be a current MEMBER of the DCRA which costs $80. Membership in DCRA is required 30 days prior to NSCC. If you are not currently a DCRA member, enter TBC in the Membership field below. If you are not a member, visit the link below for the DCRA and buy your membership before August 5, 2025.

Step 2: NSCC WAIVER 2025 w/ HAND LOAD - Required
All Participants must sign the DCRA Waiver (Online form from Link Below) that includes a waiver to use Hand Loaded Ammo on DND Ranges.

Step 3: NSCC TYRO DECLARATION FORM - optional
To Compete as a Tyro, you need to fill in the online form link below. Tyros have extra awards, and a definition of a Tyro is:
“a competitor who has not previously competed in a National Service Conditions Championship of the DCRA, CAFSAC or other international service conditions competition in the service rifle section of the Service Conditions matches. Only a Canadian citizen may compete as a Tyro. This applies to all disciplines PR, SR & SP”

Step 4: SP FOUR MAN TEAM – Optional
Create your team with the Match Director so your team information is entered in Practiscore before the Match Closes on 23 August. This is required so your Team SCORE can be calculated and shown in Practiscore. Send your Team Name, and all Team Members names as registered, to the Match Director at: [email protected]
Step 5: MATCH PAYMENT
Payment is $180 and must be paid in full to be approved for the match. Once approved, you will be sent a Link to Squad. If payment is not received with 48 hours the spot may be granted to someone else and is not guaranteed.

DIVISIONS:
- OPEN: all competitors not in Service Class or CAF/RCMP (All foreign competitors must compete in the Open Division)
- CAF/RCMP Class: a competitor who is a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces or the RCMP and is using issued equipment and on duty.
- IRONS: All competitors using a firearm in accordance with rule 7.05 that utilizes iron sights.
CLASS:
- TYRO: a competitor who has not previously competed in a National Service Conditions Championship (or international / national level equivalent) as stated above. This applies to all Disciplines PR, SR & SP individually.
- SENIOR: any competitor who is not a Tyro. (All foreign competitors must compete in Senior Category).
EQUIPMENT:
- Any pistol of any caliber which meets range regulations and would logically and practically be used in operations. Trigger pull weight minimum is 1.5kg (3.3 lbs).
- Any compact reflex sight. This sight must be mounted to the slide. The pistol and this
sight must fit into a tactical holster with at least one level of retention.
- CAF/RCMP personnel competing in this class must use CAF/RCMP issue equipment and ammunition.
- Ammunition – All ammunition must be supplied by the competitor. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure it is safe for use in their firearm. Hand-Loaded ammo is permitted if you have signed the NSCC WAIVER 2025 w/ HAND LOAD. All competitors must use full power ammunition as would be suitable for general operations. The spirit of this rule is more specifically applied with the use of the IPSC power factor. This power factor is reached by multiplying the velocity in feet per second by the bullet weight in grains and then dividing by 1000. For 9mm ammunition the power factor must be 130 or greater. For 40 and 45 caliber the power factor must be 170 or greater.
CAF/RCMP competitors must use issue ammo.
WHAT YOU NEED TO ATTEND:
- Round Count: 210 Rounds (Bring extra for reshoots)
- Pistol + Ammo that are safe
- Electronic Ears w/ Spare batteries. For safety you must hear Range Commands. Anyone not hearing or understanding range commands will be pulled from the Match.
- Eye Protection
- Sun Hat / Sunscreen
- Water / Fluids Minimum 4L, snacks & lunch. There is no time to go and get anything locally, and nothing is available on site.
- Appropriate Clothing for the weather. We shoot Rain or Shine.
- Work Gloves for Targets
- Pens & Paper for Notes

- Shooters should not register unless they intend to shoot the match.
- Refunds are available until July 5, and a 5% Admin fee applies.
No refund if cancelled July 7 or later. Full refund if the event is cancelled by organizers. Under no circumstances can any payments be transferred to a future match or used by someone else.
