THE CLASSIC HANDGUN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP!
This match will have 9 action shooting stages. Much like other action shooting sports(ICORE, USPSA, IDPA)
Join us for an exciting practical shooting match with your favorite classic handgun! This match is designed for classic handguns! Revolvers, 1911's, and every flavor or vintage production or service handgun that no longer has a competitive home. Please see the division rules below. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.
We will be using the ICORE rule book for all everything except the divisions as listed below.
There will be awards for division winners.
This will match will be run by the ICORE rulebook, with the exception of our modification to divisions. The ICORE rule book is only 12 pages and can be found at icore.org > Resources > Rulebook
This match will have 9 action shooting stages.
We use NRA D-1 Style Targets and typical action steel targets. Scoring is time plus. A and X zone are -0, B's are +1, and C+2, misses and most penalties are +5. Major power factor is scored with B's being a -0.
Minor power factor is 120 in all divisions. Major power factor if 155 for revolvers, and 165 for all other divisions and platforms.
A belt holster is required for the match.

Divisions:
Revolver-Open
-A revolver must compete in the Open Division if it has one or more of the following modifications:
-Compensating, venting, or metering ports of any kind.
-An optical sight including telescopic and red dot sights.
Revolver-Limited
-A revolver may compete in the Limited Division if it has no modifications that require it to be in open division.
-It must have Iron sights.
-It must have more a cylinder with more than 6 chambers
-Moonclips may be used.
-Weighted underlugs and custom barrels are permitted
Revolver-Classic
-A Classic Division revolver is a Limited Division revolver that has the following additional requirements:
-Cylinder with only six (6) chambers.
-Any barrel other than an unaltered factory barrel or an unaltered factory replacement barrel made by the revolver's manufacturer is not allowed in Classic Division. Alterations to the barrel other than what is required to safely install the barrel are not permitted in Classic Division.
-An under lug, barrel weight, grip weight, or any other modification designed to increase the weight of the revolver is not permitted in Classic Division.
-Must only use speed loaders to reload. Moon clips are prohibited
Revolver-Limited 6
-A revolver may compete in the Limited 6 Division if it meets the provisions of Limited division and has the following additional requirement: A cylinder with only six (6) chambers.
Revolver-BIG6
A revolver may compete in the Big 6 Division if it meets the provisions of R-Limited and it has the following
additional requirements: A cylinder with only six (6) chambers, Must be .40 caliber or greater, Minimum power factor of 155. Big6 shooters get the B zone scored as -0
1911 Irons
-All single stack 1911 patterned guns with iron sights.
1911 Optic
-All single stack 1911 patterned guns that have a frame or slide mounted optic.
***1911 minor PF is minimum 120, 10 round mag capacity normal scoring. 1911 major PF is 165, 7 round mag capacity, B zone is scored as -0.
Classic Handgun
-This is for stock, classic handguns. Approved modifications are sights, internal action work, grip, and aesthetics. Magazines may not be loaded with more than 10 rounds.

Modified Classic Handgun: This is for classic handguns that have been updated with any of the following features to include but not limited to: Non factory ports or compensators, optic mounting, aftermarket magwells, extended slide release, extended mag releases, or other non-factory parts. Magazines may not be loaded with more than 10 rounds.
