using two-person coordination, while solo competitors will complete the
course independently.

Course Description
Competitors will maneuver through a 7-kilometer course consisting of
multiple tactical shooting stages. Each stage will require the use of
rifle and/or pistol, with engagements ranging from close quarters out to
250 yards.
Stages are designed to test marksmanship, physical endurance, weapons
handling, problem-solving, and performance under stress. Team
competitors will also be tested on communication and coordinated
execution between teammates.
Competitors should plan for approximately:
- 150 rounds of rifle ammunition
- 100 rounds of pistol ammunition
In addition to the competition, the event will feature a competitor
staging area with seating, a vendor village, a food truck, raffle
drawings, and prizes. Family members and spectators are welcome to enjoy
the event throughout the day while competitors are on the course.
Physical Demands
This is not a flat-range event. Competitors should expect to run, carry,
drag, and lift heavy objects throughout the course while managing their
weapons, ammunition, and equipment. Physical stress, movement, and time
pressure are integral to stage design.
Teamwork
Competitors participating as a two-person team will encounter stages
requiring active coordination between shooters. Tasks may include one
competitor enabling the other to engage targets, alternating
responsibilities, or completing physical requirements to unlock firing
positions.
Teams must operate as a cohesive unit - failure to communicate and
coordinate will directly impact performance.
Solo competitors will complete stage requirements independently in
accordance with the stage procedures provided on match day.
Safety
Safety is paramount. All competitors will adhere to strict weapons
handling procedures under the supervision of certified Range Officers.
Failure to maintain safe weapons handling will result in immediate
disqualification.
Camping
An on-site camping area will be available for competitors who wish to
arrive the day before the event. Competitors planning to camp overnight
must coordinate in advance by contacting Samuel Bravo at
[email protected].
Withdrawal Policy
The Carlos Company Run-and-Gun Fundraiser is a charitable fundraising
event. As such, all registration fees are non-refundable.
Competitors who are unable to attend may withdraw from the event at any
time; however, registration fees will not be refunded.
For two-person teams, withdrawal of one team member does not
automatically withdraw the other competitor. The remaining competitor
may continue as a solo competitor or, when available, coordinate with
match staff to fill the vacant team position.
If the event is canceled by the organizers due to circumstances beyond
their control, further guidance regarding registration fees will be
communicated to all registered competitors.
