Cameo Classic Steel Challenge 2026

COURSE OF FIRE:
All 8 standard SCSA stages plus 2 provisional. Round count is 245 (bring at least 300 for re-shoots or extra shots).

Award ceremony and Cookout: Saturday, August 22, 4:00 PM
VENUE:
The match will be held at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex (CSEC), located just outside of Palisade, Colorado. The range is located 15 minutes east of the Grand Junction Airport (GJT) on Interstate 70, Exit 45.

FOOD:
There will be an awards cookout on Saturday. Competitor meal is included in the match fee. Guests will need to purchase a meal ticket for $15 which will be collected before going through the serving line.

Jerseys will be available for pickup at match. Final product will include top sponsors on back. Regular or Hooded. Available in men's and women's sizes.

TROPHIES:
Will be presented to winners at the cookout. If the winner is not present and wants to receive the trophy, then send us a check for $15 to cover shipping, with your mailing address, and we will ship it to you. Send the check payable to: APG, PO Box 4584 Grand Junction, CO 81502.
RANDOM DRAWINGS:
Throughout the Awards Ceremony, we will draw tickets to win prizes donated by sponsors. You MUST be present to win! We like to save the best for last!
SCSA or USPSA Membership:

REGISTERING FOR MULTIPLE DIVISIONS:
If plan to compete in a second division you must complete a second registration. On the first registration, DO NOT check the Extras box: Additional Division ( -$35.00 ). On the second registration, DO check the box: Additional Division ( -$35.00 ).
Competitors are limited to 2 divisions per shooter.
AMMUNITION FOR SALE:
Ammunition is available for pre-purchase from CSEC and can be picked up prior to shooting the match. They currently have most calibers at reasonable prices including Federal Syntech. Call (970) 464-1339 for purchase and for specific information regarding ammunition.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Refunds will be granted in full, minus administrative costs, through July 24. No refunds after July 24.
WARNING: BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS AND RENTAL CARS EARLY. Grand Junction (GJT) is a Regional Airport. Airfares and car rental fees increase significantly when the travel demands increase. Please book early, especially Staff! We need you here!

The match hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport, about 15 minutes from the range, right off of I70.
CAMPING:
Camping is available within a few miles of the range at James M. Robb – Colorado River State Park - Island Acres Section

There are a limited number of "dry-camp" RV sites at the range and are available to reserve by calling the range office at (970) 464-1339.
Shooters wishing to shoot using magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds must check in at the CSEC office before the match.
