PRS Rimfire Style Match – Benton Gun Club
PRS Rimfire–style precision rifle match
Open to all ages and skill levels
• Caliber: .22LR only
• Round Count: 100 rounds or less (bring 150–200)
• Stage Time: 105 seconds (1 minute 45 seconds)
• Target Distances: Inside 250 yards
• Course of Fire: 80–100 rounds
• Stages: Expect approximately 10 stages
Match Format
This is a one-day precision rifle competition consisting of prone, positional, and freestanding stages. Shooters will engage steel targets of varying sizes and distances within an allotted amount of time.
Target sizes and shapes are variable and may include silhouettes, geometric shapes, and KYL-style targets.
• Rounds per stage: 8–12
• Par time per stage: 105 seconds
• Timed tie-breaker stage (if needed)
Shooters will be expected to spot hits when not shooting the stage or while in preparation mode.
Schedule
• Range opens for zeroing: 7:00 AM
• R.O. briefing: 7:30 AM
• Safety briefing: 7:45 AM
• Match begins: 8:00 AM
• Match fee: $ 40 per shooter
• Bring cash
• Lunch provided for shooters
Equipment Rules
• All rifles must be .22LR
• Bipods, bags, and tripods allowed per PRS Rimfire guidelines
