Active-duty LEO or military – $20
2nd Gun (2 registrations) – $15
Beginning shooters welcome!
Guns must stay in holsters/bags/cases except at the safety tables, or under direction of a Safety Officer. No gun handling anywhere else please, including the parking lot.
To encourage younger participants, folks under 30 get their first match with us *FREE*
This will be a Defensive Rules match, NOT an IDPA match.
AIWB (appendix carry) is allowed.
You may load magazines to full capacity.
If you selected “Concealed,” you must conceal your handgun at the beginning of the stage.
PCC folks are often required to move some distance to retrieve their rifle, as they probably would in real life.
Many targets will be covered with t-shirts.
There will be photorealistic targets
There will be “Unload/Load” tables in bay 2 and 3 for those who plan to carry to and from the match.
*If you don’t care who you’re squadded with, please don’t choose a squad.*
If you want to shoot with particular folks, please note their name(s) on the “Squad With” field on registration form, AND squad yourself with them. This helps me when balancing squads.
For 2nd gun registration, please add the gun type (PCC, etc) after your last name on registration form.
Strict 5 mph speed limit at the range.
Optional categories:
NEW=New competitor with fewer than 3 matches under belt
Sig 320 Policy for TDR.Training, Bandera IDPA, and Bandera Steel Challenge.
Following the lead of many major training organizations, the following policy is effective 7/27/2025:
Use of all variants of the SIG 320 / M18 pistol in TDR.Training classes, Bandera IDPA, and Bandera Steel Challenge events is either prohibited, or restricted to outside the waistband holsters in the 3-o’clock position that do not point the muzzle at any part of the user’s body when the gun is in the holster.
All other Sig platforms are permitted.
This will remain in effect until questions regarding uncommanded discharges of the SIG 320 are resolved.
Organizations currently banning or adopting similar practices are: Rangemaster Firearms Training Services (Tom Givens), KR Training (Karl Rehn), Citizens Defense Research (Lauer, Johnston, Cypert, Clark), Gunsite Academy, USAF, and many others.
