Baer's Gun Club (Formerly TAC2) - PCSL Halloween Match
We’re trying something new: a Halloween-themed PCSL-style match. It’s the first time PCSL has been run here, so come give it a try. If you like it, we could add these matches to the monthly roster.
If you haven’t come across PCSL before, it’s a practical shooting format scored on hit factor (points divided by time), similar to USPSA. Expect a relaxed but varied match, making use of the best equipment we have available.
There will be six stages and four divisions:
Pistol only
PCC only
2-Gun PCC/Pistol
2-Gun Rifle/Pistol
2-Gun shooters will use their long gun on four stages and shoot two stages pistol only. Some stages may have dump barrels so you can transition from long gun to pistol if you want to, but you don’t have to. Slings are optional but recommended. PCSL rules allow you to carry an unloaded gun slung.
Since it’s Halloween, you may find yourself engaging some (paper) monsters.
Stick around after the match as there will be tannerite in pumpkins on the back hollow.
Round count: Around 140 pistol/pcc, or 90 pistol + 50 rifle.
Instead of match fees, a donation must be made of an amount of your choosing, which will be spent on making major renovations to the range.
Registration: 8am, first shot at 9am. Early start, early finish.
