*****Description*****
This match will be a 2-PERSON TEAM MATCH and consist of 5-6 stages, with targets out to 600 yards. Multiple bays will be utilized. Shooters are expected to bring their rifle zeroed, with verified DOPE out to 600 yards. Unconventional distances will be used (e.g. 316, 472 yards).
HEART RATE WILL BE INCREASED via physical exertion during some stages.
HEIGHTS WILL BE UTILIZED during some stages.
Part of the unique fun of this match is that shooters may carry auxiliary equipment to use as they see appropriate, but all of this equipment must be carried by the shooter and remain on their body or within arm's reach throughout the entire TIMED SEGMENT of each stage; this includes all ammunition for the entire match. Backpacks are commonly used. For example: the shooter may choose to use a rangefinder on a given stage, and begin with it around their neck with all unused items stowed in their backpack. Useful but absolutely not mandatory equipment includes: backpack, bipod, sling, kneepads, tripod, shooting bag, rangefinder, kestrel, ballistics app on phone, pencil/paper, arm data board, additional ammo.
The shooter will configure all attachments on their rifle (e.g. bipod, sling) at the beginning of the match. Each stage will begin with this same configuration, though these may be removed or added ON THE CLOCK. The same rifle must be used throughout the entire event unless a catastrophic, irreparable failure occurs.
*Change for 2026* The shooter may begin a stage with accessory items (such as a shooting bag or tripod) in-hand. Tripods and bipods must be fully collapsed at the beginning of each stage. Scopes may be adjusted prior to the timer unless otherwise stated.
Absolutely NO steel core/green tip/penetrator rounds allowed. Muzzle devices are allowed. Minimum of 2 magazines. Any cartridge .30 caliber or below allowed (commonly .223, .308, 6mm) though may not exceed a muzzle velocity of 3,200 fps. Chronographs may be used and will result in a match DQ if speeds at the muzzle exceed 3,200 fps.
Carts, rifle bags or strollers may be used for transportation of rifles and equipment between stages. Use of these items is not allowed during stage courses of fire.
Scoring will be Time Plus Misses. Inability to finish the COF is recorded as par time plus any missed impacts.
There will be a maximum par time and potential maximum round count per stage.
At minimum, an optic magnification of 4x is required (more is highly recommended). A red dot with 4x or greater magnifier, variable zoom scope, prism, etc. are approved as long as it achieves 4x magnification or greater. No limitation on maximum magnification. A secondary aiming solution is approved and optional.
Total hits required: Approximately 50 (Recommended 100+ rounds). No limit on the amount of ammunition that may be carried, however it must all be carried by the shooter (just like equipment) throughout the timed portions of the match.
No sky loading of rifles permitted.
Brass collection may not slow down the advancement of shooters during the match. This will be strictly enforced by RO’s.
Rifle/Team Requirements:
-At least one teammate must shoot .223/5.56 or .308/7.62 caliber
-Semi-auto rifles only
-No barrel length, magnification, or magazine restrictions
**NOTE: We operate a "cold range" and rifles are required to be unloaded in a case or cart, with a chamber flag inserted at all times.
Registration fees are non-refundable, except in the event of match cancellation.

*****Gate Codes/Location*****
If you are not an ASC member, you will need a code for the gate at the entrance to the range. The event gate code will be sent in the days leading up to the match. The safety brief will be held in the east building behind the general shooting ranges. There is an access drive between the 100 yard and 200 yard ranges that will take you to the east side. If you can't find them, ask a club member or RSO and they can guide you back to the ranges. DO NOT BRING GEAR INTO THE SAFETY BRIEF.
