Our matches are held on the east side ranges, which are to the east and behind the general shooting ranges. If you can't find them, ask a club member or RSO, and they can guide you back to the ranges.
Description:
2 Gun is a shooting competition that tests participants' proficiency with Rifle and Pistol. Engage in a series of new dynamic shooting scenarios every month, where you can test and improve your proficiency, speed, and accuracy, and learn from others. Scored by Hit Factor, participants will be awarded points for their placement in each match. There are 6 regular season matches to qualify for the final match on October 11th. The sum of your score for your highest 3 matches will determine your season points. The top 32 shooters will receive early access to sign up for a spectator-friendly, elimination-style event to determine the season winner on October 11th.
Shooters should bring a semi-automatic rifle and pistol and plan on firing up to 150 rounds of both. Up to 3 magazines of rifle and pistol may be utilized on a single stage, and your favorite mag retention system is encouraged. 2Gun is a great opportunity to gain experience with all your gear!
See the 2Gun page on https://aurorasc.org/departments/action-shooting-sports/2-gun for specific rules.
NOTE: We operate a "cold range", which means firearms must be unloaded in a case or cart, with a chamber flag inserted or holstered at all times.
All skill levels are welcome, and we particularly encourage shooters new to competition, provided they can safely operate their firearm and understand the basic manual of arms.
Registration fees are non-refundable, except in the event of match cancellation.
