Arizona Combat Classic 2026

About the Match:
Hosted by Mesa Police Department, Mesa Cadet Explorer Program, and Rio Salado Sportsman's Club, the Arizona Combat Classic is back. This LEO combat handgun match is designed for officers to have fun while improving their shooting skills. A portion of each registration fee will go to the Mesa Cadet Program.
The match is open to all active, retired, and reserve police officers along with military personnel. Come on out and bring your fellow officers and soldiers to make it even more fun.
If you've never shot a match before, this one is perfect for the first-time shooter.

Squad Size: 16 total (with 2 ROs on each squad)
Stages: 6 (PB1-PB4 & TB1)

We will be using the following divisions:
Carry Optics - production-style, striker-fired, or Double-action/single-action pistols requiring slide-mounted red dot optics and restricted magazine lengths (141.25mm)
Limited - iron-sight only, high-capacity double stack or 1911/2011 style guns without compensators
Limited Optics - Optic-allowed (may not be mounted to the frame in any way), high-capacity double stack or 1911/2011 style guns without compensators
Open - "anything goes" race gun division allowing frame-mounted optics, compensators, large-capacity magazines (171.25mm)
Production - factory service and duty pistols using iron sights only, restricted modifications, and a strict approved production handgun list, limited to 15 round magazines
Revolver - wheel-guns (minor: 8 round magazines, major: 6 round magazines)
Single Stack - traditional single stack 1911 pistols with tight limits on magazine capacity (minor: 10 round magazines, major: 8 round magazines)
Equipment Needed:
- Handgun with at least 3 magazines, five speed loaders (plan to need up to 30 rounds)
- Holster and magazine pouches appropriate for the division
- At least 200 rounds of factory or factory equivalent ammo
- Calibers must be at least .38 Spl or 9mm (light loads are not allowed and won't knock over steel)
- Chairs, umbrellas, and foul weather gear as needed
- Optics authorized only if it is approved for carry at work
Registrations occurring after November 1st will not include a T-shirt unless we have extras in your size.
Refunds: Full refund (less $5 processing fee) will be given for withdraw requests prior to November 15th at 6pm.
