April 18 – Mayberry MARS-NRL22 Precision Rimfire Match

Welcome to the Mayberry Game Protective Association (MGPA) 2026 MARS/NRL22 Season! This season we will be shooting the five monthly NRL22 stages followed by 4-5 stages complying with the MARS rules.
MGPA will host a Precision Rimfire Rifle Match on Saturday, April 18, 2026. All levels of experience are welcome to come. We will be following the NRL22 and Mid Atlantic Rimfire Series (MARS) rulebooks. We will be shooting the NRL22 stages with a 120 second par time and generally the longer distance options. We will be shooting the MARS stages with a 105 second par time. For MARS stages, we can go as far as 350 yards. MARS stages for this match will be designed by Steve.
While all are welcome, shooters wishing to participate in the MARS series points must be a member of MARS. Memberships are available at the MARS website: https://modernamericanrimfireseries.com. Shooters wishing for their scores to count towards NRL22 are required to be signed up with NRL22: https://nrl22.com/
We will be having Tactical Bench rest available for any shooters who wish to participate. We will be separating the scores as the end of the match if necessary.
If you are interested in participating but have not shot positionally, do not have a rifle, or just want to see what is happening, you are welcome to come out and watch or shoot with a loaner rifle. If you want to use a loaner rifle, please let us know a day or two in advance.
We will have a 15 minute zeroing period at 50 yards. Match book will be posted the night before.
All visitors are required to sign a waiver.
