Both Centerfire and 22 Rimfire rifles are allowed at this event.

Safety Notice:
– Keep ALL firearms in your vehicle until after the safety briefing and you are instructed to bring them to the firing line.
– No illegal firearms are allowed.
– At centerfire-friendly ranges, rifle cartridges are limited to 8mm (rifle) or .45 caliber (pistol and pistol caliber carbines).
– Effective 8/8/2025, Project Appleseed has temporarily suspended the SIG-Sauer P320/M17/M18 (all variants) in our Pistol Clinics.
– Parents of youth attending, please read our Message to Parents.
Subject to state and local laws, Instructors at your event may have discounted .22 ammo available. Reach out to the contact at the bottom of this page for availability.
Range Fee: $5.00 per person per event for non-members of the range.

From Dubuque Starting at N.W. Arterial, travel 6.1 miles west on Highway 20, turn right on Thunder Hills Road, travel 1.1 miles north to destination. From Peosta Travel 1.5 miles east on Highway 20, turn left, on Thunder Hills Road, travel 1.1 miles north to destination.
