AMA Hunter 22 Mini Match

Ready to put your field craft and practical marksmanship to the test?
We’re hosting a pilot NRL Hunter–Style 2-Person Team Mini Match, and it’s unlike any standard rimfire match you’ve shot. Every stage is a true blind hunt: you won't get to see the course of fire until it's your turn at the line, giving you and your partner just 4–5 minutes on the clock to locate the targets, range them, build stable field positions, and make your first-round impacts count. Best of all, it’s a peer-run format—each team will deploy their own cunning course of fire using club steel to challenge the rest of the field.
We have divisions for everyone: run as a two-person Shooter/Spotter Pair, tackle the clock completely solo in Lone Wolf, or jump into Guided Hunt if you're a newer shooter, junior, or parent/child duo looking for active mentorship and coaching on the line (all 22LR rimfire platforms welcome, bolt or semi).
Because of the rotating peer-setup format, space is extremely limited to just a handful of spots to keep the match moving fast and smooth. Lock in your entry early, and let’s see who really knows how to find and hit steel under pressure!
Format: 6-8 stages (100 rounds of .22LR ammo recommended to cover the match, sight-in, and potential re-shoots).
Distances: Steel targets ranging from 100 yards out to 250+ yards.
Required Gear: .22LR rifle, 2 to 3 detachable 10-round magazines, a chamber flag, and a scope capable of dialing or holding out to 300 yards. Parallax adjustment down to 25 yards is highly recommended.
Restrictions: .22LR ammunition only. No magnum rimfires (.17HMR/.22WMR).

Match Starts: Immediately following sight-in.

The match will run rain or shine. There is no food or drink available on-site, so please bring your own food and hydration to last the day.
