Match Details
Free State Redemption takes place at Mill Creek Rifle Club on Sunday, August 9, 2026, the day after the 2026 Free State USPSA Championship Presented by Vortex.
This Level 1 match gives competitors the opportunity to shoot championship-style stages in a lower-pressure environment while enjoying one more great day of USPSA competition.
Fees
Match entry is $20 for MCPSL members, juniors, and pre-teens.
Non-members pay $40.
Non-member participants of the 2026 Free State USPSA Championship Presented by Vortex pay only $20.
If you worked staff at the 2026 Championship, your entry is free as a thank-you for your support.
Who Should Shoot?
You do not need to be a USPSA member to participate. This match is open to everyone and offers stages designed to mirror those in a Level 2 event, but with a more laid-back vibe.
If you’re new or relatively new to USPSA, this match is a great introduction to higher-level stages without the pressure of a full championship environment.
If you shot the 2026 Free State USPSA Championship Presented by Vortex and wished for a redo on a stage, or want to try a different division, this is your moment. Come back and see how you’d do the second time around.
Out-of-town visitors can make the most of their trip by shooting both the Level 2 and Level 1 matches. It’s a great way to cap off a full competition weekend.
Schedule
Payment will be required to register. Check-in on day of match will be on-site starting at 8:00 AM.
The shooter’s meeting begins at 8:45 AM, followed by the match starting promptly at 9:00 AM.
All shooters are expected to stay until the end of the match to assist with teardown of all stages, including returning all stages and equipment to storage.
Please Note
This Level 1 match is a completely separate event from the 2026 Free State USPSA Championship Presented by Vortex. Scores from this match will not count toward the championship.
