Join competitors from across the region for an exciting weekend of competitive shooting, camaraderie, and charitable giving at the inaugural Maryland Galactic Pistol Alliance State Championship and Tribute to 9/11 First Responders. This special charity event honors the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s first responders while supporting a meaningful cause close to home.
Net proceeds from the match will be donated to the 100 Club of Anne Arundel County, an organization dedicated to supporting first responders and their families during times of tragedy and hardship.
The Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) is a fast-paced action shooting sport designed to test practical firearm handling skills, speed, accuracy, and stage strategy in a safe and competitive environment. Competitors engage a variety of targets through dynamic courses of fire that require movement, reloads, target transitions, and problem-solving under time pressure. Matches are conducted under strict safety standards, with scoring based on a combination of accuracy and elapsed time. For more information consult the website.
