SAGC Steel Challenge – April 2026

The San Angelo Gun Club will host a 5-stage Steel Challenge match on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
SAGC is now affiliated with the Steel Challenge Shooting Association, so for SCSA members, your stage scores will count toward your divisional classification.
$15 per person for up to two gun entries (cash only)
0830 – Stage Setup
0930 – Check-in, payment
0955 – Safety Briefing
1000 – Match Shooting Begins
Eye and ear protection REQUIRED for all competitors and spectators
Bring extra magazines (for 10rd mags bring 5 or more mags, 15+rd mags bring 3 to 5 mags)
For Centerfire Pistol Division, a strong-side belt holster is required. The holster must cover the trigger & safely retain the pistol (inside-the-waistband holsters and drawing from concealment are NOT PERMITTED in Steel Challenge)
For Rimfire Pistol Division, a case/bag is mandatory
For Rimfire Rifle and Pistol Caliber Carbine Divisions, a case/bag AND chamber flag is mandatory
125 rounds per match entry (bring an extra 50-100 rounds)
22LR, 9mm, .38cal, .40 S&W, .45 ACP
No magnum ammo, No steel core ammo, No incendiary ammo
