The Foothills Public Shooting Complex is proud to announce the 2026 NC State Steel Challenge Championship!

This is an SCSA Tier II Championship Match. 6 of the 8 official stages will be shot. We will not shoot Outer Limits and Speed Option.
NOTE: You must be a SCSA Member to shoot this event.
There will be 2 Sessions on Friday (ROs and Limited Competitors); 2 Sessions on Saturday; and 1 Session on Sunday. Maximum of 2 firearms per flight.
SPECIAL NOTE: This is a Trophy Only Match. Trophies/Awards will be based on entries received 1 month prior to match start date.
All shooters and NON-SHOOTERS must have a current (less than 1-year-old) Foothills Public Shooting Complex Waiver on file to be anywhere on the Foothills Public Shooting Complex Property. Everyone must check in at the office prior to going out on the Range. Online video and wavier can be found on the website: https://foothillspublicshooting.cc/ or can be done in the office.

Awards: Awards will be given based on registration numbers on March 1st (one month prior to match).
– Special Awards (Steel Master, Rifle Master, Rimfire Master) will be awarded if at least 4 competitors meet the criteria
– Do not have to present to be awarded. We can ship awards for a fee of $20.00 or hand an award to your proxy to be delivered to you.
