SUMMARY:R.A.P.S - Steel Challenge and Open House - June 7th
DESCRIPTION:We will be shooting eight Steel Challenge stages\, with each stage consisting of five strings of five targets and a maximum of ten rounds allowed per string to maintain match flow. Shooters should expect to use between 200 and 400 rounds depending on division and makeup shots\, and bringing at least 300 rounds is recommended.\nThe match will take place at the Regina Wildlife Federation outdoor ranges\, with setup beginning at 7:00 AM on Sunday and shooting starting at 10:00 AM or as soon as setup is complete. Walk‑ons are welcome\, and while shooters may squad themselves\, squadding adjustments may be made to ensure smooth match flow.\nMatch fees are $20 for adults and $5 for youth 18 and under\, payable through cash at the match\, or EMT to raps@ipscsk.com. Rimfire pistol\, rimfire rifle\, and PCC will start from low ready\, while centerfire pistols will start holstered\, and only safe holsters may be used (If you have a trigger finger release style or no holster we can start from low-ready). Chamber flags are required for all long guns\, and eye and ear protection is mandatory for all shooters and spectators. Shooters should bring enough magazines to comfortably complete five‑string stages\, along with their own food\, water\, and provisions for the day.\nThe match will proceed in light rain and will only be cancelled in the event of storms or unsafe conditions. Friends and family are welcome to attend and support the shooting sports.
