SUMMARY:NRA Range Safety Officer Training
DESCRIPTION:Contact: Dave Atwell (datwell74@gmail.com) \nThis request is to use the clubhouse meeting room for a NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Certification Course on Saturday\, February 28th\, 2026 taught by myself and a couple friends (one is a club member). The primary reason for this class is to train and certify a new cohort of scout leaders and volunteers as RSOs for the National Capital Area Council of Scouting America \, but the course will also be open to FRGC members. The course cost will be $100 per person\, but adult scouters and club members will receive a 50% discount. The class is limited to 12 participants. $5 per participant will be returned to the club. No shooting is required for this course\, and no live ammunition will be allowed in the classroom.
