SUMMARY:NCRR HPR - Service Rifle XTC\, 1000 yards Match
DESCRIPTION:Norfolk County Rifle Range will host an Across The Course Service Rifle match on Sep 26th.  This is a 50-shot match with 2 sighters at each stage\, total 58 shots. We will also shoot a 1000 yard match or a steel challenge.\nCourse of Fire:\n* Slow fire offhand\, 200yds\, 2 sighters and 10 shots for record in block time of 12 minutes\, single loaded\n* Rapid fire sitting\, 200yds\, 2 sighters slow fire in 2 minutes followed by 10 shots for record in 63 seconds with a reload (magazines loaded 2 and 8 or 5 and 5)\n* Rapid fire prone\, 300yds\, 2 sighters slow fire in 2 minutes followed by 10 shots for record in 73 seconds with a reload (magazines loaded 2 and 8 or 5 and 5)\n* Slow fire prone\, 600yds\, 2 sighters and 20 shots for record in block time of 22 minutes\, single loaded\n* Long Range\n1000 yards\, Unlimited sighters 20 shots for record in a time limit of 30 minutes\, single loaded\nEquipment Divisions:\n* Service Rifle\n* Match Rifle\n* F Class\n* Unlimited (any rifle / any optic / any support)\nSee Stage descriptions for additional course-of-fire details. DESCRIPTION:Norfolk County Rifle Range's annual Jimmy Ristow Garand Match will be held Saturday\, Nov 14th. This is a CMP sanctioned match.  Matches for the day include M1 Carbine\, M1 Garand\, and Vintage Sniper.\nM1 Carbine Match:\n* Course of Fire (all stages shot at 100 yards):\n- Slow fire prone\, 5 sighter shots and 10 shots for record in 15 minutes\n- Rapid Fire Prone\, 10 shots in 73 seconds\n- Rapid Fire Sitting\, 10 shots in 63 seconds\n- Slow fire offhand\, 10 shots in 10 minutes\n* Equipment divisions will be M1 Carbine As-Issued and Unlimited (any rifle / any sight)\n* Note this match is limited to 1 relay on a first-come\, first-served basis with M1 Carbine shooters having priority over Unlimited division.\nM1 Garand Match:\n* Course of Fire (all stages shot at 200 yards):\n- Slow fire prone\, 5 sighter shots and 10 shots for record in 15 minutes\n- Rapid Fire Prone\, 10 shots in 73 seconds\n- Slow fire offhand\, 10 shots in 10 minutes\n* Equipment divisions will be As-Issued M1 Garand\, Unlimited Garand\, Vintage (Springfield 03 or 03A3\, Enfield\, Mauser\, etc.)\, Modern Military\, Match Rifle\, and Unlimited Rifle (any rifle / any sight).\nVintage Sniper Two-Person Team Match:\n* Course of Fire:\n- Slow fire prone\, 300 yards\, unlimited sighters in 5 minutes for both shooters\, then 10 shots for record\, shot single loaded on command for each shooter.\n- Slow fire prone\, 600 yards\, unlimited sighters in 5 minutes for both shooters\, then 10 shots for record\, shot single loaded on command for each shooter.\n* Equipment divisions will be Vintage Sniper per CMP rules\, Vintage (Garands\, 1903s\, etc. and other old military without official optic)\, Modern Military (AR-15\, M1As\, etc.)\, and Unlimited (any rifle / any sight / any support).\nSee Stage descriptions for additional course-of-fire details.
