DESCRIPTION:Welcome to 3Gun at SJSC!\nShooters of all skill levels should find something to enjoy here\, so come on out and show us what you got!  We will be using our 3 ranges. The Action Range and 200 yard range and the 50 yarder for the matches that are located in the back of the property. What to always bring ; eyes and ear protection\, good holster with at least 3 mags for rifle and pistol minimum and caddies for shotgun shells. You never know what we will come up with...BE SURE TO HAVE OPTICS DIALED IN!!\nMatch check in starts at 8:15AM\, safety brief at 8:45AM hammer down at 9:00 am. YOU MUST BE CHECKED IN AND ATTEND THE SAFETY BRIEF TO SHOOT. PLEASE BE ON TIME.\nThere will be 2-4 stages\, featuring a mix of cardboard and steel targets with distances from 5 to 120 yards . Ammo count will be about 150 rds of pistol and rifle each\, bird shot is 100 rds and slugs 5-10. NO STEEL CORE AMMO/STEEL SHOT. Shotgun is BIRDSHOT only.  Not to exceed 1350 fps.\n$20 for members\n$25 for non-members\nWe hope to see you out there!

SUMMARY:SJSC October Outlaw Steel Challenge Match 2026
DESCRIPTION:This match will be held on the 200 yard range in the back.\nSafety brief will begin around 8:45 am and match will start at 9:00 am.\nYou must be present at the safety brief in order to shoot.\nSteel Challenge :\nThere will be a total of 4 stages\, each stage will consist of 5 targets\, 4 regular and 1 stop plate\, each competitor will shoot each stage 4 times (called strings) back to back. Each string has a max possible time of only 30 seconds. Your score will be your total time plus penalties. Your slowest string is discarded. Simple to learn\, hard to master.\nPlease bring to the line with you a minimum of 4 magazines to help speed along the shooting order. If you do not have enough magazines you may bring someone to the line with you to help load mags while you shoot.\nNo magnum ammunition permitted at all\, no penetrators or solid copper projectiles or bi-metal rounds commonly found on steel cased ammo.
