SUMMARY:York IWLA 2-Gun Action Challenge - September 2026
DESCRIPTION:Match Day Schedule\nCheck In will open at 8:00am on day of match\n$25 Cash due at check in\nSafety Brief will start at 8:45am (Mandatory for all competitors)\nFirst stage will start at 9:00am\nMatch will consist of 5 to 6 dynamic stages focused on technical shooting skills combined with strength\, endurance\, and agility challenges. Challenges include kettlebell throws\, weighted props\, running\, crawling\, and strenuous shooting positions.\nEquipment Information\nCompetitors will need a rigid holster with solid retention\, a sling for their rifle as there will be a good deal of movement\, and a way to securely carry at least 2 rifle and 3 pistols magazines.\nPCCs are allowed to be used as a rifle for the match.  There is no specified division for PCCs and stage procedures will be unchanged.\nAmmunition: Rifle cartidges allowed are 5.56\, 7.62x39 and other similiar energy rounds.  Not allowed are 7.62x51 (.308)\, similiar or higher energy rounds as these rounds cause damage to our steel targets.  If you have any questions please reach out to match director for clarification or determination.  No steel core or armor penetrating ammunition such as "Green Tips".  Pistol cartridges allowed are 9mm. 45\, 10mm\, .38 and similiar energy rounds.  Not allowed are magnum pistols such as .357 magnum\, .44 magnum and similiar energy rounds due to steel target ranges\, safetey and damage to our targets.

Pistol only competitors will need a rigid holster with solid retention\, and at least 3 pistol magazines.\nEquipment Information\nNo steel core or armor penetrating ammunition such as "Green Tips".  No rifles / rifle ammunition allowed for the PCC match.  PCC / Pistol cartridges allowed are 9mm. 45\, 10mm\, .38 and similiar energy rounds. Bring extra ammo\, as it there is none available for purchase at the facility.\nShooters are limited to 2 guns.\nRULES:\nThis is a Tier 1 local Steel Challenge match and we will abide by the rules of Steel Challenge Shooting Association. They can be found here: https://scsa.org/rules\nAll 14 SCSA divisions as well as 2 provisional divisions\, Rimfire Revolver Optic (RRO) and Rimfire Revolver Iron (RRI) are available to shoot. Use of suppressors is not prohibited but the match director can not assure accurate times.\nAt York SCSA Shooters\, rimfire is 22lr only and must be below 1300 fps.
