DESCRIPTION:NRA America’s Rifle Challenge (ARC) Level 1 Match is open to ALL skill levels (beginners through experienced shooters). The Compound Nevada is a welcoming\, structured\, safety‑driven environment for new competitors.\nARC Level 1 focuses on positional shooting AND fundamentals\nThis registration is for ARC Level 1.\nPlease refer to the NRA ARC Rulebook for more information on divisions and rules at https://arc.nra.org/media/10359/arc-rulebook.pdf \nPrior to registering for this ARC\, all competitors must register for a free ARC competitor number through the NRA Competitive Shooting Portal at: https://competitor.nra.org/\nAdditionally\, you must register for a Practiscore member number which can be obtained from Practiscore - practiscore.com\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nMinimal gear required for ALL registrants are the following:\n• A rifle or PCC that meets the requirements of the division they are competing in\n• An Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI)\n• Sling\n• Two Magazines\n• 200 Rounds of Ammunition\n• Hearing and Eye protection\n• Weather appropriate clothing and footwear (NO open-toed shoes)\n• Optional: Shooting mat and cart/wagon\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nLodging:\nThe Comfort Inn & Suites\n2011 N. Highway 78\nWylie\, TX\, 75098\n(972) 665-6783\nPlease contact hotel and advise that you’re participating in the NRA ARC – The Compound Nevada and request the current group rate because lodging rates are subject to change.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nRegistrants should also bring the following:\n• Hydration and snacks\n• Sunscreen/lip balm\n• Great attitude and really good footwear\n• Safe firearms handling and marksmanship skills\n• A rifle or PCC that has been properly zeroed at a maximum distance of 100 yards\n_________________________________________________________________________________________\nSquadding:\nYour squad number will be your group.\nYour group will shoot together.\nYour squads shall remain together throughout the day\nRegistrants that wish to shoot together should select an open squad and regsister your group into that squad as quickly as possible.\nRange Brief: 8 am\nCompletion: 3:00ish pm\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nNRA ARC events are run as "COLD RANGES".\nALL firearms MUST arrive cased and unloaded.\nFirearms may only be handled or manipulated within the designated "SAFE AREA"\, which will be pointed out to you upon check-in. DO NOT handle or manipulate them within the designated parking areas.\nNO ammunition shall be allowed in the SAFE AREA.\nAll rifles and PPCs shall be checked\, made clear and safe with an ECI installed into the chamber of the firearm.\nOnly then may the firearm be slung\, hung or placed in a case on your cart prior to departing the SAFE AREA enroute to your bay.\nAt the end of the day\, at your final stage\, the RSO WILL clear your firearm on the line in order to safely case your rifle prior to departure from the range.\nEVERYONE is responsible for ensuring the safety of our sport.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nRefund Policy:\n30+ Days Prior to the Event\nRegistrants may receive a full refund\, minus applicable processing fees.\n16–30 Days Prior to the Event\nRegistrants may receive a 50% refund\, minus applicable processing fees.\n15 Days or Fewer Before the Event\nNO refunds will be issued.
