SUMMARY:SLPSA Salt Lake 360
DESCRIPTION:This is a big Level I USPSA Pistol/PCC match with 6 stages and requiring 360 to 400 rounds. Each stage will require 60 rounds. One stage will be all steel. The match will be a one-day match that can be shot on Friday or Saturday. Squads will be limited to 13.\nYou can shoot the match on both Friday and Saturday if you register in different divisions.\nVolunteer stage builders are welcome. We coordinate stage builders at SLPSA.org. Push the USPSA STAGE SET UP button on the bottom right. We'll compensate you with a free and early match registration code. We will run fairly straightforward stages with little memorization required in light of the large round count.\nYou cannot be a new shooter for this match; you must have competed in at least one level 1 match without being disqualified after February 2026 to compete in this match. You must be ready to provide the URL showing your match completion and score by email.\nWe have a vendor that has match shirts available: a $50 crew neck and a $70 hoodie/sun shirt. This is the same vendor that did our State Championship shirts last year. To buy one\, visit https://practiscore.com/salt-lake-360-match-shirt/register .\nExpect an eight hour -or more- day of shooting\, resetting\, scoring\, moving\, and helping for this match. There will not be dedicated ROs; we will ensure each squad has at least 4 good ROs for match flow\, mentoring\, and most importantly\, SAFETY. We reserve the right to move ROs to ensure each squad has good ROs. Everyone will be expected to help reset stages (especially the all-steel stage); there is only so much time in the day until daylight\, fatigue and loss of shooter experience becomes a factor. We will have a dedicated lunch period. Shooters are expected to bring their own food and drink to during the match.\nSCHEDULE\nFRIDAY\n7:00am -range open\, function fire if needed in an empty bay under an RO's commands.\n7:00am -(or when arrive) staple targets and finishing touches on stages\, help if you can\n8:00am- Mandatory shooter meeting\n8:15am (or when shooter meeting is over)- First shots.\n3:30pm (or when complete)- match complete. Take all trash to dumpsters please.\nSATURDAY AM\n6:00am- optional breakfast at Black Bear Diner 2569 S 5600 S a couple miles south of the range- all are welcome.\n7:00am -range open\, function fire if needed in an empty bay under an RO's commands.\n7:00am -(or when arrive) staple targets and finishing touches on stages\, help if you can\n8:00am -Mandatory All Shooter meeting.\n8:15am -First Shots (after All Shooter Meeting)\n3:30pm -Match ends (approximate). Empty trash\, take down and put away all stages.\nThis is a glorified monthly club match. It may eventually become a level 2\, annual three day match with dedicated stage ROs although with the State Championship at the end of August\, limitations of the local RO pool will be a factor. We are working on a prize table\, bbq\, and other extras to add to shooter experience (no promise this year- we're concentrating on stages and staff first).

SUMMARY:SLPSA May 10 Concealed Match
DESCRIPTION:This is a new concealed carry Hit Factor style match we are trying. It will be held on the Sunday immediately following the SLPSA USPSA #1 match. Stages will be reused from the main USPSA match\, making for a fun and accessible way to test your concealed carry skills.\nThe match will follow all USPSA safety and scoring rules. All Big Salty Range rules apply.\n-------------------- Rules --------------------\nAll competitors must be shooting from holstered concealment. This means that gear such as holsters\, firearms\, and spare magazines must be hidden from view and carried in a realistic\, practical manner. Bagged/off body carry is not allowed at this time due to the potential for DQ issues. Holsters that severely break the 180 (such as shoulder holsters or holsters with extreme cant) are not allowed.\nThe spirit of this match is real-world concealment\, so we are requiring IWB holsters. This is to prevent people from running things they don't actually wear\, like IDPA-style "gamer vests" with OWB. If you genuinely carry OWB\, it will be allowed if the MD determines it does not violate the spirit of the match. Please validate with the MD ahead of time if you have any concerns.\nIt is entirely at the discretion of the MD to determine if you meet the intent of the match! If the MD sees shenanigans\, you can be moved to shooting for no score (with no recourse)\, or disallowed from further match participation.\nWe highly encourage people to run their actual carry setups to see how they perform.\n-------------------- Divisions --------------------\nMinimum caliber is .380 ACP. While we would like to accommodate those brave souls that carry .25 ACP pop guns\, it just isn't practical from a match management perspective. Perhaps in the future we can have a backup gun division\, but for now it is .380 or higher.\nThe divisions are all capacity-based with no other accessory restrictions. So feel free to run your carry gun with a comp\, port\, thumb rest\, magwell\, optics\, irons\, etc. Holster-capable PDWs like the P365 Raider are allowed\, provided you are IWB with it in a manner you would actually carry.\n- Small Cap - 8 max rounds in the magazine (or cylinder). Represents your smaller carry guns or revolvers. In order to help low cap be competitive and not need a huge amount of spare mags to reload\, small cap division hits are scored as a 2x the hit\, e.g.\, one alpha becomes two alphas. So you typically only need one hit per target.\n- Factory Cap - 18 max rounds in the magazine. Represents your traditional factory capacity magazines.\n- Modern Cap - 25 max rounds in the magazine. Represents the growing capacity of modern carry setups.\nAll questions or comments can be directed to the Match Director Rory Norman at admin@slpsa.org.\nSUNDAY\n8:00 AM - Range Open\, function fire can be done in an empty bay under the direction of an RO.\n8:00 AM - Staple fresh targets\, help with stage changes if any are needed.\n8:30 AM - New shooter brief. As it is concealed only\, this match requires a higher level of skill and attention to safety\, so if you are a totally new shooter this might not be the right environment to start at. That said\, we will have a new shooter brief for anyone who needs it\, likely in Cemetery Bay. Refer to the new shooter brief on the website if needed (https://slpsa.org/new-shooter-help/)\n9:00 AM - All Shooter Meeting\n9:15 AM - First shots (after the shooter meeting has concluded)\n3:00 PM - Approximate end of match. Empty trash\, take down all paper targets.
