SUMMARY:Port Malabar (PMRPC) GPA - August 2025
DESCRIPTION:Effective immediately\, the Sig Sauer P320 — including all derivative models based on the P320 platform — is prohibited from use on PMRPC property. This suspension will remain in place until the underlying concerns have been fully addressed and resolved to our satisfaction.\nGPA match at Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club.   Minimum round count is usually 100-150 but you should always bring at least 200.\nPlease arrive early between 7:45 - 8:15 am for sign in.\nNew Shooters should arrive by 8:00.  There is New Shooter Brief at 8:15.\nSIGN-IN CLOSES PROMPTLY AT 8:30am so we can get the scoring tablets to the stages.  \nCost of match is $20\, with discounts provided for Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club (PMRPC) Members\, Active-Duty Police/Military\, and Juniors under 18. All must show ID at sign-in.  Payment of the match fee is required at registration.\nREFUNDS: Refunds will be provided less $5 credit card processing fee. DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Space Coast Challenge will be the premier IDPA sanctioned match of the year in Florida! We have devised 12 challenging stages with a minimum round count of 220. The stages are designed to test your ability to think\, perform and shoot under pressure. This will be The Match to test your skills and compete with the BEST in the pistol shooting sports.\nMain Match starts: Nov 14\, 2026 @ 8:00 AM Match ends: Nov 15\, 2026 @ 3:00 PM\nStaff Match starts: Nov 13\, 2026 @ 8:00 AM through Nov 13\, 2026 @ at 4:00 PM\nMatch Director:  Larry Wheeler\nLocation:\nPort Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club (PMRPC)\n610 Hurley Blvd SW\nPalm Bay\, Florida\nRegistration opens on: April 1st\, 2026 @ 6:00 AM\nRegistration closes on: September 1st\, 2026 @ 6:00 PM\nTimes are local to America/East Coast Time zone.\nYou have four options when selecting a squad for the match. You can sign up to:\n1) Shoot all 12 stages on Saturday\n2) Shoot 6 stages Saturday morning and the remaining 6 stages on Sunday morning\n3) Shoot 6 stages Saturday afternoon and the remaining 6 stages on Sunday morning.\n4) There is an option for a limited number to Shoot all 12 stages on Friday with the staff.  Check with Match Director before signing up for Friday Squad.\nPMRPC does not allow AIWB holsters (or Serpa holsters that require the use of the index finger to release the pistol from the holster) due to insurance/liability reasons.\nPMRPC does not allow the barrel of a loaded weapon to point over the berm.
