SUMMARY:2026 UTLE Not-A-Cop Handgun
DESCRIPTION:Hello!!\nThis is the sign up page for 2026 UTLE Not-A-Cop Handgun match hosted by Waypoint Training. This is the open shooting day for the UTLE Handgun Championship that is being held several days before. This is the opportunity for you to shoot the largest police match in the nation\, but without all the pesky police. It’s a good time. Registration will start at 7AM and go til 7:45AM\, with shooters meeting at 8AM. Please come on time. If you don’t\, you will be removed from the iPad.\nRuleset is loosely based on USPSA\, but with 3 Gun scoring\, so two on paper or one alpha neutralizes the target. It is a time plus match. All the good USPSA divisions are invited to party.\nWe will have trophies for the top three of each division if there are more than 10 people in the division. Less than that will likely only get one trophy for first place.\nWe also will have a VERY small prize table that will be random draw. Shirts will be included in your registration fees. Please sign up earlier\, as I place the order for match shirts in March\, and I cannot guarantee you a shirt if you sign up after March 18. The shirts are cool and comfy (Next Level shirts are used\, so you’ll actually wear this one).\nThere will be 12 stages with about 25 rounds each\, so about 300 rounds total. Currently I am planning on 12 shooters per squad and anticipate finishing shooting at about 3/4pm\, with awards and tear down done by 4/5pm. The scoring really helps us zoom along and it’s a very fast match. Yes\, we’ve done 12 stages in one day before 3/4pm multiple times in the past. This match is built to zoom.\nCome out\, have some fun\, and party. This is genuinely my favorite match of the year\, as the 3 gun scoring pistol game is an absolute hoot and really tests your ability to become an A-10 Warthog.\nFull refunds will be allowed until a month out from the match (half refund until two weeks out\, no refunds after that). After that we start ordering and buying things\, so I can’t really refund you. #sorrynotsorry\nIf you have any questions\, please feel free to text me at 801-610-9539.

SUMMARY:2026 UTLE Not-A-Cop PCC
DESCRIPTION:Hello!!\nThis is the sign up page for 2026 UTLE Not-A-Cop PCC match hosted by Waypoint Training. This is the PCC shooting day for the UTLE Handgun Championship that is being held several days before.\nThis is the opportunity for you to shoot the largest police match in the nation\, but without all the pesky police. Plus it’s PCC only so all y’all can have your pinkies out being fancy with your roller delayed $4000 five inch barrel “rifles”. All the good USPSA divisions are invited to party.\nWe’ll have a handful of trophies based on sign ups.\nThere will be NO PRIZE TABLE. Occasionally\, sponsors request us give stop to you heathens so we do\, but it is not planned. Currently I am planning on 12 shooters per squad and anticipate finishing shooting at about 2/3 pm. The scoring really helps us zoom along and it’s a very fast match. Yes\, we did 12 stages in like six hours last year. This match is built to zoom. We will not be tearing down the match\, as there is the other Not a Cop match the next day.\nCome out\, have some fun\, and party. This is genuinely my favorite match of the year\, as the 3 gun scoring pistol game is an absolute hoot and really tests your ability to become an A-10 Warthog.\nFull refunds will be allowed until a month out from the match (half refund until two weeks out\, no refunds after that). SUMMARY:2026 Utah Law Enforcement (UTLE) Handgun Championship
DESCRIPTION:This is the 2026 Utah Law Enforcement Handgun Championship match hosted by Waypoint Training.\nThis will be a police officer only match with a large random draw prize table\, 14 stages\, awards for the top three in each division\, and shirts for each competitor. We anticipate a number of sponsors being on site and are planning to have food/snacks available for the shooters.\nThere will be three competitive divisions\, Patrol\, Patrol Optics\, and Practical. A Sponsor division is just for fun and is essentially our open division. It’s the same divisions and rule sets created by Jared Stepp and Jeremy Dunn that have been used in other matches. A complete ruleset will be attached to this signup shortly.\nThis will be held at the Big Salty Range behind Lee Kay\, just west of Salt Lake City. If you aren’t sure\, Google it. It’s there.\nIt costs $80. Totally worth it. Get your department to pay for it. You get a shirt\, a great match\, and an awesome prize table (historically we’ve given away around $40\,000 – $50\,000 in stuff each match\, but each year varies). We also will be making some challenge coins for the match. You can preorder them for $20 at the bottom of this page.\nFull refunds will be allowed until a month out from the match (half refund until two weeks out\, no refunds after that). After that we start ordering and buying things\, so I can’t really refund you. #sorrynotsorry\nInfo for the match.\nSign ups. You sign up right here on this page and you pay on this page. Once I receive the payment\, you should get an email that says you are approved to squad. You then pick what squad you want to be on\, so you can shoot with your friends. You need to understand something. If you don’t sign up on time and can’t shoot with your friends\, that is a you problem. Sign up and shoot together. I can’t squad you with friends if there aren’t spots left on their squad.\nDIVISIONS\nPatrol rules are simple. It is your current duty weapon. You can only load 15 rounds in your gun. You must use a duty style holster. It must have at least one level of ACTIVE retention (ie ALS\, SLS\, etc). That’s it. No red dots\, porting/muzzle brakes\, or crazy stuff in this division (even if it’s your duty gun). Most guys will have glocks/M&Ps/P320s etc in this division.\nPatrol optics is the exact same rules as patrol\, but slide mounted red dots are allowed. Aka Glock MOS with RMR or M&P core with a Deltapoint. Still no porting\, compensators\, or anything wild in here (even if it’s your duty gun). Again\, 15 rounds only.\nPractical is the “competition” division. This division is also where retired/former officers can compete. It’s essentially Limited Optics from USPSA\, but iron sights are also allowed if you are stuck in the 20th century.\nThe sponsor division is for dudes donating to the match that won’t be competing against the coppers for awards or prizes\, but wanna have fun. This is the open division. Follow standard USPSA open division rules (which are very very lenient).\nAny questions\, please feel free to text me at 801-610-9539. I don’t answer phone calls\, but if you want me to call you\, I will. But text me and tell me that. I’m a dang millennial.\nHurry up and sign up though\, cause this match fills up fast. Don’t you come whining to me about squadding when you were slow on the draw.\nI’m opening it 4 months early to allow no excuses for conflicting schedules and allow you time to source ammo. So no excuses. If you are purchasing ammo\, we suggest Salt Lake Wholesale. Contact me if you need to ship ammo prior to the match and we can make that happen.\nWe will have two days where we are shooting.\nPlease\, please\, please\, know what day you are signing up for. I find that helps for long term success.\nSquads 101-114 will be April 15 and will have RO’s embedded on each stage and is the PRIMARY MATCH Day.\nSquads 201-214 will be on April 14 and will have RO’s on each squad who float with you\, squad mom style and is the STAFF/SECONDARY MATCH Day. Anyone can sign up for either day. Really it’s whatever works better for your schedule. Each day will have a similar prize table.\nYou must be present to win your prize due to thieving in the past.\nThanks everyone!
