SUMMARY:Queen City Steel Challenge Championship Presented by AimSurplus
DESCRIPTION:This is our first annual Queen City Steel Challenge Championship. It is an all classifier (8 stage) shot in half day format.\nThis is a Tier 2 Steel Challenge match\, SCSA membership is required. There are 3 sessions\, Friday am\, Saturday am and Sunday am.\nCompetitors will shoot all 8 stages in each session. For now competitors are limited to 2 firearms per session but if space provides\nwe may be able to make exceptions as we get closer to match day.\nTimes are as follows:\nFriday 9/11\n06:00 Range setup/ gate opens\n08:15 SHARP Check-in/ gate closes\n08:20 Match brief\n08:30 Match starts\n13:00 Match ends (approximate)\nSaturday and Sunday 9/12 and 9/13\n07:00 Gate opens\n08:15 SHARP Check in/ gate closes\n08:20 Match brief\n08:30 Match starts\n13:00 Match ends (approximate) Awards to follow\nIf you are interested in working the match as a RO or setup/ tear down crew contact the MD at steelchallenge@miamirifle-pistol.org for details working as match staff.\nMD will squad you so we can make sure to have adequate staffing on all squads.\nWe will shoot 4 stages\, take a short break\, then shoot the other 4.\nPayment will be available on Practiscore and will be required to squad.\nFor random prize drawings\, you MUST be present to win. Awards and large prize drawings will take place immediately following the match on Sunday.\nWe will have awards for all divisions\, classes\, and categories\, based on the number of entries as per the rulebook Appendix A2. You do not have to be present to win your placement award or trophy. Awards/trophies can be shipped for a fee of $10 or hand them to a proxy of your choice who can deliver them to you.\nPayment must be sent through Practiscore\, registration will be $60 for each firearm. You will need to create a separate registration for each division you are shooting. Lunch is included with registration. Additional meals for family members and other guests may be purchased from our vendor.\nOnce payment is received\, you will be approved and you will be able to squad. Please ensure that you squad all firearms you plan to shoot in a session. If the squad does not have space to accommodate all of your divisions\, you will need to select a squad that has space.\nCancellation policy: Cancellations before July 1st will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee. Cancellations between July 1-30 will receive a 50% refund.
