SUMMARY:Intown ATL IDPA at Freedom Outdoors Midtown - 15 July 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters. Please arrive early at the range\, pay your match fee at the range check-in desk and help set up\, which starts about 5 p.m. all help is welcome. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.\nLocation: Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center\, 485 Bishop St. NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30318\nSetup starts: 5 p.m.\nNew shooter safety brief: 5:30 p.m. (prompt)\nPre-match meeting: 5:50 p.m.\nFirst shots: 6 p.m.\nNew shooters are welcome! New shooters\, or anyone who would like a safety refresher\, MUST be present by 5:30 p.m. for safety brief. If you're not present at the start of the safety brief you will not shoot.\nIDPA ranges are COLD ranges. All weapons will be UNLOADED\, in a holster or case\, will be slide forward or cylinder closed with the hammer or striker down. All PCCs will be bagged or cased AND have an empty chamber flag inserted. Coming to the line\, PCCs will be either muzzle up or down with a chamber flag inserted WITHOUT EXCEPTION.\nEveryone must help strike props and pickup spent brass after the match and everyone gets out earlier.\nAfter you register\, choose the squad you'd like\, “squad me” and then hit save at the bottom of the page. Your squad may change based on squad balance.\nWe MUST have at least two certified SOs on each squad. If y'all squad together we'll split you apart.\nAfter you register\, choose your squad\, hit “squad me” and then hit save at the bottom of the page.\nClosed toed shoes are MANDATORY.\nAbsolutely NO handling of weapons unless you’re at a designated SAFE TABLE or under direct control of a safety officer during a course of fire. NO handling of ammunition\, live or inert\, at a safe table.\nIf you're coming to the match and you are lawfully carrying a firearm\, GO TO AN EMPTY STALL IN BAY 1 TO DOWNLOAD THE GUN. DO NOT download the gun at the safe table.\nIDPA no longer allows the use of Sig Sauer P320 pistols or any its variants\, including the M17 and M18. You will NOT be allowed to compete with one of these weapons.\nBy signing up for and participating in these matches you agree to hold harmless match safety officials and Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center for any accidents that occur.
