SUMMARY:Hillside Competitive Shooting PCSL 1-gun match
DESCRIPTION:Hillside Competitive Shooting is hosting a 1-gun PCSL match. For this match we're planning on 3 or 4 stages. Round count for this match should be less than 150\, depending on misses. This will be a modified 1-gun match. We will be following the PCSL rules. This is a level 1 match.\nIf a lot of rain is forecast for Roanoke\, pay attention to your email or the Hillside Competitive Shooting Facebook page for updates on the status of the match.\nMake sure you have ammo for the match before showing up. Day of the match competitors will register at the outdoor range at 4593 E. Station Rd\, and the electronic gate will be open.\nGo to pcsleague.us\, and under RULES click on GENERAL RULEBOOK\, and or PISTOL/PCC DIVISIONS AND SCORING to familiarize yourself with the rules. Especially if you are new to pcsl\, or competitive shooting in general.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nWe run a COLD range. Firearms must be unloaded at all times except during the match under the direct supervision of a Range Safety Officer (RO). HANDLING OF FIREARMS AT VEHICLES IS PROHIBITED. Pistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated Safety Areas or unbagged under the direction of a RO/SO at the shooting position. PCC's must be chamber in pistol calibers. PCC's must be flagged and preferably bagged at all times unless at a safe table or after receiving the "Make Ready" command.\nSafety Areas are clearly marked with signs. If the table doesn't have a sign marked "Safety Area" then it isn't one and Gun Handling is not allowed there but ammunition handling is.\nNO AMMUNITION HANDLING in safety areas.\nWaiver required at registration.\nCash only please.\nRegistration: 8:30-9:30 am\nMandatory Shooter's meeting: 9:45am\nStart time: 10am!!!!!!!\nWe're usually done and cleaned up by about 3pm at the latest. SUMMARY:Outlaw Steel Challenge Hillside Competitive Shooting
DESCRIPTION:This match will be 4 stages\, 2 stages in pistol bay 3\, and 1 stage in each bay 4 and 5 at Hillside Shooting Sports Outdoor Range. \nIf there are chances of heavy rain\, pay attention to your email and or the Hillside competitive shooting\nFacebook page for the status of the match.\nRound count will be 100 minimum (plus makeup shots). The gun store opens at noon\, so make sure you have enough ammo before the match starts.\nThis is an unsanctioned steel challenge match\, but we will be following the SCSA and USPSA rules closely.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nWe will be running a cold range. Firearms must be unloaded at all times except under the direct supervision of an RSO(Range Safety Officer).\nPCC's must have an empty chamber indicator in place at all times\, and PCC should preferably be cased/bagged until brought to shooting position with RSO present.\nPistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated safety table\, or unbagged under the direction of an RSO at the shooting position. Safe table will be clearly marked with signage.\nNO AMMUNITION AT THE SAFE TABLE!\nAll pistol calibers permitted. Max velocity for shooting steel is 1600fps.\nThe use of any Steel core\, or steel (bimetal) jacketed ammunition is PROHIBITED.\nMatch fee will be $20 per person for first gun\, $10 per additional gun Up to 3 guns total.\nCash only.
