The focus is on improving efficiency\, consistency\, and safe firearm handling through structured repetition and performance evaluation.\nWhat We'll Cover\nSafe gun handling while moving\nStage planning and strategy\nEfficient movement between positions\nShooting from barricades and unconventional positions\nReload techniques\nTarget transitions\nCalling your shots\nEngaging moving and reactive steel\nTexas Star fundamentals\nSpinner techniques\nSwinging and other reactive targets\nTime management under pressure\nCommon mistakes and how to avoid them\nHow the Day Works\nWe'll begin by shooting two mini stages to establish a baseline.\nAfter each run\, we'll break down what happened:\nWhat worked\nWhat didn't\nWhere time was gained or lost\nBetter movement and stage planning\nMore efficient target engagement\nWe'll then spend time practicing the individual skills before running the same stages again to measure your improvement.\nThe goal isn't just to tell you what to do. it's to show you the difference with the timer.\nEquipment\nPistol\nHolster\n150–200 rounds of ammunition\n2 or more magazines\nEye and ear protection.\nMeasure. Re-evaluate.\nEvery technique taught is intended to produce observable improvements in efficiency\, consistency\, or stage performance\, allowing shooters to compare their initial and final runs using objective data rather than opinion.\nTime plus scoring\nPrice: 20.00\nBlackPeak Match Registration & Payment Policy\nTo ensure fair access to our matches and allow adequate time for planning\, staffing\, and squad assignments\, the following registration policy applies to all competitors.\nRegistration\n* All returning competitors are expected to register through PractiScore before registration closes.\n* Registration closes at the published deadline. Once registration has closed\, competitors are not guaranteed a spot without payment.\n* First-time BlackPeak competitors are welcome to walk on. We want to encourage new shooters to experience the sport and will do our best to accommodate them.\n* Returning competitors who do not register before registration closes will only be accepted as walk-ons if space remains after all registered competitors and first-time shooters have been accommodated.\n* Walk-on registration is at the sole discretion of the Match Director.\nPayment - IMPORTANT\n* Full payment must be received before registration closes to secure your spot. PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WHEN YOU REGISTER.\n* Competitors who have not paid by the registration deadline may have their registration canceled and their spot made available to another shooter.\n* If you plan to pay with cash\, arrangements must be made with the Match Director before registration closes.
