DESCRIPTION:The smallbore (.22LR) Mini Palma is intended to replicate the high power Palma match\, which is shot at 800\, 900 and a 1000 yards. In the Mini Palma match\, targets are scaled to simulate distance. Some match details:\n* Distance is 100 yards\n* Shooting is from the prone or bench position.\n* Consists of 30 shots\, loaded singly.\n* Ten shots for score at each target\, with twenty sighters permitted.\n* Time limit is 45 minutes to complete the match target.\n* Cost is $8.00 for just this shoot; $15 if shooting the F-Class to follow.\n* Held on the second Saturday of each month from April through October\, weather and range conditions permitting.\n* Attendees need to arrive by 8:30am for the safety brief and prep. Match begins at 9am. However\, setup begins at 7:30am for those who would like to assist.\nThis match is followed immediately by the Smallbore F-Class match.\nPre-registration is preferred as we may not always be able to accommodate walk-ins. DESCRIPTION:F-Class is a shooting sport which originated in 1995. It was intended for those familiar with or interested in long range shooting\, and is typically held at 600 to 1000 meters. Since 2019\, FTRPA hosts a scaled down smallbore (.22LR) version of this match using targets to replicate distances of 600 and 1000 meters. Some match details:\n* May be fired from prone or bench.\n* A bipod or rifle rest is permitted\, with optional rear support.\n* Match is shot from 100 and 200 yard distances. Targets are A-50 @100yds and A-33 @200yds\n* Each distance is allocated of 20 shots\, for 40 shots total\, singly loaded. Time limit is 30 minutes for each distance.\n* Classes are prone or benchrest.\n* Cost is $8.00 for just this shoot; $15 if shooting the Mini-Palma before.\n* Held on the second Saturday of each month\, April through October\, weather and range conditions permitting.\nThe match begins after the Mini Palma is completed\, about 10am.\nPre-registration is preferred as we may not always be able to accommodate walk-ins. If the red light is flashing\, it signals the range is cold and there is no firearm handling.\nPlease remember that eyes and ears are required at all times.\nJoin us for our monthly NRL22 match! This precision shooting competition is designed for .22LR scoped rifles and features steel targets at distances from 25 to 100 yards. Shooters will tackle multiple stages\, using various positions and barricades such as barrels\, ladders\, saw horses\, and buckets. We also include one or two challenge stages designed by match shooters for an extra test of skill. Bring at least 100 rounds and prepare for a fun\, challenging experience that will test your marksmanship and strategy. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or a newcomer\, this is a great opportunity to improve your skills and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow shooting enthusiasts.\n2026 Update: As long as you're within the first 80 shooters to register\, you will be approved for the match. We will prioritize regular participants who routinely show up or communicate withdraws\, as well as first time attendees\, for early approval/squadding. If\, in recent matches\, a shooter has registered and been a no show multiple times without withdrawing in a timely manner\, we may wait to process the approval until closer to the match. They are squadded on the day of the shoot. This saves substantial time at the close of registration and shortens pre-match announcements when we can be flexible for squadding on match day.\nIf the squads appear full here on Practiscore before 80 registrations are reached\, don't worry\, we'll typically add more positions to squads on the day of the match based on attendance. SUMMARY:FTRPA Outdoor Steel 2026-6-28
DESCRIPTION:This club match is based on Steel Challenge\, but is not an SCSA sanctioned event. Our aim is to run a fun match. We're newbie friendly and it's not ultra competitive. If our match shows as full\, you can still sign up for the waiting list. As plans change for shooters\, we routinely move people into the match when openings pop up.\nThe shoot consists of 5 stations of 5-6 steel targets of varying sizes and placed in varying patterns – each stage consists of five strings. Many stages will have a stop plate that must be shot last. The strings are timed\, with your highest time being dropped\, and your remaining 4 strings counting as your score for that stage. Please bring enough ammo (~300 rounds)\, magazines (5)\, and bring the firearm unloaded and cased. We start from the low ready\, and do not use holsters in the match.\nEntry is $15; second guns for any entry are also $15; Juniors (under 18) are free with an adult entry. Payment is made at registration with cash\, Zelle\, Venmo\, or check.\nRegistration opens by 8:15am. Registration closes firmly at 9am.
