DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Lawrence County Sportsmen’s Association (LCSA) Level I Steel Challenge Monthly Match!\nReady for some steel-shooting excitement? Join us for a fast-paced day at LCSA with 6 classifier stages set up to test your skills ! Here’s everything you need to know:\n******************************************\nMatch Schedule:\n9:00 AM Match\nRegistration: Opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 8:30 AM at the indoor range.\nMandatory Shooters Meeting: 8:45 AM.\nHammer Down: Match begins promptly at 9:00 AM.\n******************************************\nFees:\n$20 for the first gun.\n$10 for each additional gun.\n$5 for all junior shooters per gun.\nPlanning to shoot in more than one division? Be sure to create a separate entry for each gun.\nWalk-ons are welcome IF open slots are available\, however Practiscore pre-registration and squad selection is appreciated and preferred.\n******************************************\nWhat to Bring:\nA minimum of 250 rounds per gun/division. (We recommend extra to cover misses.)\n5 magazines per gun\, especially if using low-capacity mags (e.g.\, 10-round).\nEye and hearing protection for all shooters and spectators.\n******************************************\nMatch Location:\nWe will be shooting in the upper pistol bays next to the indoor pistol range.  Follow the entry road through the gates go past the main clubhouse which will be the first building on the left\, drive past the main clubhouse and past 2 maintenance buildings until you arrive at the next building which is the indoor pistol range.\n******************************************\nCOLD RANGE Rule – Safety First!\nAll firearms must remain UNLOADED unless you’re on the firing line under an Range Officers supervision.\nKeep firearms secured in a holster\, bag\, or cart.\nFor rimfire rifles and PCC\, ensure the bolt is closed on a chamber flag.\nSafe Area: Located by Bay 1 & 5 and the indoor range. You can handle unloaded guns here\, but no ammunition is allowed in this area.\nImportant: If you’re unfamiliar with the COLD RANGE rule\, leave your firearms in your vehicle and check in at registration.\nWe’re here to help!\nIf an individual is thought to be in violation of the COLD RANGE rule\, a match official will escort the individual to a safe area and direct the individual to unload and show clear. If the firearm is found to be loaded\, the individual will be disqualified from the match and asked to leave the range.\nPlease leave your concealed carry gun in your vehicle.  If you are a law enforcement officer\, duly authorized to carry a loaded firearm\, we ask that you proceed immediately to the registration table and ask for a match official for the express purpose of safely unloading the firearm to avoid disqualification.\n******************************************\nNew shooters\nPlease arrive no later than registration opening time for the match and let us know at the registration table if you’re a new shooter.  This will allow us to have a new shooter meeting without delaying the start of the match.\nConsider bringing more than 250 rounds for each gun/division per match.  It typically takes 150 rounds per gun with no misses to complete 6 stages.  All stages consist of 5 strings of fire on 5 targets.
