SUMMARY:SGC 2026_08_09 Steel Challenge Salisbury Gun Club
DESCRIPTION:AUGUST 9 MATCH STARTS AT 10AM.  (ONE OFF SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT THIS MONTH)\nWelcome to SGC's Steel Challenge Match!  We will use 2 of our 3 Pistol Bays\, and run 2 squads.  We will do 4 stages\, at least 3 of them will be official stages.  With a stage swap after shooting the first 2.\nSCSA Level 1 Match.\nBring 120 rounds.  Probably need 100 for the match.\nIn the event of inclement weather\, the shooting positions will be setup under tents. Check SGC Practical Shooting Matches Facebook page for updated weather cancellations.\nCheck-in begins at 930\, safety briefing at 950\, hammer down at 1000.\nSteel Challenge Rules can be found at https://scsa.org/rules\nFee is $16.  Shooters may shoot two divisions.  YOU MUST REGISTER A 2ND TIME FOR YOUR 2ND GUN.\n5 Magazines for your firearm are highly recommended.  Might be able to get away with 3 or 4\, pending your aim!\nShooters and spectators will require eye and ear protection when on the range.\nOur range is a cold range. Guns must remain holstered or cased except when under direction of RO on the firing line or in a safe handling area. Prior to the match all guns must be cleared. SGC is a cold range. If you arrive with a loaded carry gun\, please contact a range officer for instruction to safe firearm. For Pistol Caliber Carbines and .22 Rimfire Rifles an empty chamber indicator (ECI) or safety flag is required as well as a case for transport.\nPlease stay tuned as we bring this event to SGC! DESCRIPTION:COME ON DOWN TO SALISBURY GUN CLUB'S 4th Annual Late Summer 2Gun Match!\nThis will be a 4 stage (+1 warmup) match based on PCSL 2 GUN RULES!  We will be shooting PCSL T ZONE TARGETS!  This is a PCSL LEVEL 0 Match.\nSalisbury Maryland\nChamber Flags required in all long guns.  We have flags to lend out for the day.  SLINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE USED DURING THE MATCH.  They may remain on the rifle but not used during the stages.\n1 Entry per person\, ~52 max shooters. Pre-register to guarantee your spot!\nSafety Brief at 8:40am\nHit Factor Scoring\, (Points divided by time). 5 gun/combo divisions:\nThis is a PCSL Match with PCSL rules.  Hit factor scoring. The rules are strict and the safety procedures must be followed exactly. Violations of the SAFETY rules may result in disqualification and/or expulsion from the match. If you are unfamiliar with these rules\, study them carefully before registering for your first match.
