SUMMARY:SIG SAUER Academy 2026 EDC Championship presented by Fdez Werx
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to host our annual premier carry gun match\, the Everyday Carry (EDC) Championship\, at the SIG SAUER Academy! ALL BRANDS OF PISTOLS ARE ALLOWED TO COMPETE! The rulebook is included in the match documents below.\nThe match will be conducted in a one-day format with 10 practical shooting stages (think PCSL/USPSA with carry guns). Competitors may choose to shoot on either Saturday or Sunday. Staff will shoot on Friday and there will also be limited spots available on Friday for regular competitors. Registration will open at 0745 and the shooters brief will be held at 0845 daily.\nOur rulebook draws heavily on the PCSL rulebook with modifications made to encourage the use of common concealed carry equipment. The divisions are designed around common concealed carry pistols. The micro-compact division is designed to accommodate P365XL and similar sized pistols. The compact divisions are designed to accommodate P320 Compact (15-round grip module) and similar sized pistols. Due to popular demand\, we’ve developed the full-size division that is designed to accommodate full-size pistols (full-size P320 or similar sized pistols\, compact pistols with attachments that don’t fit in compact box\, etc.). Division specific boxes will be used to measure pistols. Division dimensions are included in the rulebook attached to this registration page. Iron sights and red dot sights won’t be included in the height of the pistol. Please email ssacompetitions@sigsauer.com with any questions.\nConcealment is required on all stages\, unless stated otherwise in the stage brief. Open front concealment garments (vests\, unbuttoned shirts\, unzipped jackets\, etc.) are allowed in the full-size division only. All other divisions must use closed front concealment (t-shirt\, hoodie\, etc.) We highly encourage you to compete with your actual carry setup!\nTop competitors in divisions with 10 or more competitors will be recognized with plaques/trophies. Top competitors in categories with 5 or more competitors will be recognized by plaques. Prizes will be distributed by a combination of random draw and order of division finish.\nThis event will utilize a cold range\, meaning guns will remain unloaded unless under the direct supervision of a range officer. If you show up to the match with a loaded pistol (you likely will be shooting your carry gun after all)\, please find a match staff member to supervise the unloading of your pistol prior to the match.\nWe’re now accepting match volunteer applications! If you want to be considered as a match volunteer\, please fill out the volunteer application form here: https://wkf.ms/3MsBTeB\nPlease contact ssacompetitions@sigsauer.com if you’re interested in sponsoring the match.\nRefund Policy:\nCompetitors who withdraw from the match on or before May 30th will receive a full refund (minus Stripe CC processing fee). Competitors who withdraw from the match after May 30th but on or before June 8th will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after June 8th.
