DESCRIPTION:SDG – Battle of Thermopylae 4/25/2026\nMonthly 2-Gun Competition held on the last Saturday of every month.\n6 Red Dot friendly stages with the majority of targets between 0 – 300 yards with an additional target or two between 300 – 500 Yards most often used as bonuses.\nMagnified optics are a good idea\, but the match is designed so that a shooter with only a red dot (magnifier recommended) can be competitive.\nPlan on 69 hits with Rifle & 58 with Pistol required over 6 stages including a Mover\, Spinner\, Plate Rack\, Texas Star\, Poppers\, etc.\nTime Plus Points Scoring for this month\, but Hit Factor Scoring in the very near future.\nA = 0\nC = +1\nD = +2\nM = +5\nFTSA / FTE = +10\nNo Shoot = +15\nBonus = -5 to -30\nProcedural = +5\nRequirements:\n– Sling for your rifle\n– Holster designed to retain your gun while moving\n– A way to carry extra magazines\n– At least 3x the amount of ammo needed for the required number of hits for each weapon system.
