DESCRIPTION:The Faces of Freedom ARC Regional Championships Presented by 360 Precision\,\nhosted at the Pete Lien and Sons Shooting Sports Complex in Rapid City SD.\nThis event is a multi-level NRA America’s Rifle Challenge featuring all four (4) stages of the\nLevel 1 match format and four (4) stages of the dynamic Level 2 format. This is a ONE-\nDAY shooting event fired over multiple days to allow additional competitors. You will\nonly compete on Saturday. This is a rifle only match\, as\nthe max distance is limited to 300 yards\, Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCC’s) are allowed.\nPlease refer to the NRA ARC Rulebook for more information on divisions and rules\nhttps://arc.nra.org/media/10359/arc-rulebook.pdf\nThis event is also part of the ARC Across America National Challenge. Your scores\nfrom the four stages of the level one event will be ranked on the leaderboard with\nthousands of others.\n Prior to registering\, all competitors must register for a free ARC competitor\nnumber through the NRA Competitive Shooting Portal at:\nhttps://competitor.nra.org/\n__________________________________________________________\nParticipants will need the following:\n A rifle that meets the requirements of the division they are competing in\n A sling\n An Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI)\n Hearing and Eye protection\n Weather appropriate clothing and footwear (no open-toed shoes)\n Optional – Shooting mat and cart/wagon\n Approximately 260 rounds of ammunition (full round count not yet posted)\n____________________________________________________________\nParticipants should bring the following:\n Hydration and snacks\n Sunscreen/lip balm\n Great attitude\, and friends/family that have the same great attitude\n Safe firearms handling skills\, marksmanship is encouraged\n A rifle that has been properly zeroed.\n_________________________________________________________\nDaily match flow\, your squad number determines your match day and the bay you will\nstart on. Example: If you are on squad 102\, you will compete on Saturday and start on\nstage #2. If you were on squad 206\, you would compete on Sunday and start on stage #6.\nCompetitors that wish to compete together should select an open squad and coordinate\nyour group into that squad as quickly as possible. Don’t delay as match staff cannot guarantee movement. “Squad Jumping” is NOT\nallowed.\nCheck – In Time: 7am\nCompetitor Brief: 7:30am\nCompetition Time:  8am\nCompetition Completion: 5:30ish pm\n____________________________________________________________\nNRA ARC events and events at PL&SSSC are ran as “COLD RANGES”\, all firearms\nshall arrive cased and unloaded. Firearms may only be handled in a designated “SAFE\nAREA”. No ammunition is allowed in the safe area. All rifles shall be checked and\nmade clear and safe with an ECI installed into the chamber of the firearm. Only then\nmay the firearm be slung and hung or placed in a case on your cart prior to departing\nthe safe area to your bay. At the end of the day\, at your final stage\, the RSO may clear\nyour firearm on the line in order to safely case your rifle prior to departure from the\ncomplex. Everyone is responsible for ensuring the safety of our sport.\n_____________________________________________________________\nAwards dinner will be held on Sunday at the completion of the event and collection of\nscores. Additional information will be provided ahead of the event to registered\ncompetitors.
