SUMMARY:The 2026 Del Norte Gun Club Black Rifle fundraiser match presented by BMC Tactical
DESCRIPTION:Del Norte Gun Club is proud to host the Black Rifle Charity Match on Saturday\, September 26 in support of the Second Amendment and the organizations working to protect it here in New Mexico.\nThis match raises funds for the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) and the New Mexico Firearms Industry Association (NMFIA). Last year\, thanks to the support of our shooters\, volunteers\, and sponsors\, we raised nearly $20\,000 to help those organizations continue their work.\nThe last legislative session saw one of the strongest pushes against the Second Amendment in recent years\, and we expect those efforts to continue. The Black Rifle Charity Match is one way our shooting community can come together to support the organizations that represent us at the Roundhouse and advocate for firearm owners across New Mexico.\nThe Black Rifle Charity Match is a rifle only action shooting competition featuring targets from 1 to approximately 300 yards. Stages include a mix of steel\, cardboard\, frangible\, static\, and moving targets with a variety of shooting positions and props.\nCompetitors should bring:\nA semi-automatic rifle (AR\, AK\, M1A\, FAL\, or similar)\nA rifle sling\nPlenty of magazines\nAt least 300 rounds of ammunition (final round count will be posted once stage designs are complete)\nBMC Tactical returns as the Title Sponsor\, with additional sponsors continuing to join the event. Prizes will be awarded by random draw\, raffles will be held throughout the event\, and trophies will be presented to the top finishers in each division.\nWhether you compete\, volunteer\, sponsor a stage\, or donate a prize\, every contribution helps support the organizations defending our rights here in New Mexico.\nRules and additional match information:\nhttps://tinyurl.com/ybd88t32\nVolunteers Needed\nThe Black Rifle Charity Match is entirely volunteer supported\, and additional help is needed this year.\nThe main match will be held on Saturday\, September 26. The staff match is scheduled for Friday\, September 25\, with stage setup taking place on Thursday\, September 24.\nThis year\, we will have dedicated Range Officers assigned to each stage to improve consistency and keep the match running safely and efficiently. Because of that\, we need more volunteers than in previous years.\nVolunteers shoot the match at no cost.\nCurrent volunteer needs include:\nRange Officers – Experience running a timer\, tablet\, and safely managing a squad.\nStage Setup – Help building stages prior to the match.\nAnyone interested in volunteering for setup or serving as an RO can contact Drew Solomon at drew.solomon@gmail.com. A volunteer registration link will be provided separately.\nThere will be 4 divisions: (see rules link for division descriptions)\nTactical Timmy: no more than 30 rounds in magazines\, plate carrier must be worn throughout match (minimum weight\, 10 lbs)\, all magazines and reloads must come from carrier (unless stage description states otherwise)\, Flash hiders/silencers only. No muzzle brakes or compensators (unless silencer is attached)\, no optic restrictions\, no supporting devices allowed.\nLimited: One unmagnified optic. No more than 30 rounds in magazines\, no supporting devices\nScope: Limited to one magnified optic or red dot+magnifier combo. No drum magazines\, No supporting devices\nOpen: No restrictions\nBraced pistols are allowed. PCC's are also allowed but there will not be a PCC division - Just select the division you'd fit into. Shooting a PCC at this match will be a disadvantage since we are planning on shooting out to ~300 yards and hits will be harder to call\, however you may switch to a rifle for whichever stages you'd like.\nNo steel core ammo will be allowed (ex. Green tip M855)\nRegistration will be open until 9/23. Refunds for the match will be given UP TO THIS DATE (MINUS FEES)\ncheck out @delnorte3gun on Instagram to see pictures and videos from previous matches\n Any other question?
