SUMMARY:30 Caliber & Under Black Bear Hunter Match - Long Action
DESCRIPTION:Black Bear Shooting Club is excited for the first Hunter 30 caliber and under ELR Match directed by Jordan Congdon & the Black Bear ELR Shooting team.\nAll the scores from this match will go towards ELR Foundation and ELRSO light gun ranking for King of 1 mile\nTargets will range from 700 to 1800 yards we will have cameras on all targets past 1000 yards.\nCost is $200 per division (Short action/Long action) and you do not need to be a Black Bear member to shoot this match.  Juniors shoot for free\, just please contact  Jordan Congdon with the name of the Junior & division(s).\nCASH PAYOUT and prizes In each class!!!\nWe will have 2 divisions a short action and long action everyone will shoot same targets but get scored in your division\n**Registration will open on June 16th\, 2026 @ 8am EST & will close August 1st\, 2026 @ 9pm EST. **\nBEGINS: August 8th 2026 @ 6:30 AM\, safety brief at 7:30 Am (ZERO day is Friday August 7th 2026\, gates open at 10am & close at 5pm)\nENDS: August 9th 2026 by 6:30 PM\nWHERE: Black Bear Shooting Complex\, 2019 W James Anderson Highway Gladstone VA\n** Gates will open at 10am on Zero day (August 7th\, 2026) & close at 5 pm\, there will be (2) 100 yard targets at zero range\, same location. There will be a 1000 target at the tower location. **\n** Lunch will be available for cash purchase\, so please bring cash if interested! No food will be available on Zero day. **\n** Shooters can enter the gate starting at  6:30am\, signs will be present for direction starting when you turn onto Lauras’s lane from Hwy 60 **\n** Safety brief will be at 7:30 am with the first shooter pulling the trigger at 8 am. **\nThere will be 9 targets per class\, 5 rounds per target\, 3 relays\, 5 minutes each\, 3 targets per relay\, this is NOT hit to advance. Target distances will be posted\nWe will have a side stage at the High angle range next to the ELR platform so bring extra ammo and extra cash winner takes all for the side stage.\n1st 2 relays will be shot Saturday and the last relay will be shot on Sunday followed by awards!!\nZero day is August 7th\, there will be NO zeroing on Saturday August 8th\, gates open at 10am & close at 5pm on August 7th for zero range. ** No one can shoot on the Blackbear Shooting Complex until they have signed the liability waivers.
