Originally\, hosted at Renton Fish & Game\, Paul Bunyan is thrilled to host in 2026.\nCheck-in to the Stat Shack by 09'45. All calibers\, as usual are welcomed. Special Recognition is for those diminutive pistols.\nASI at Paul Bunyan Sportsman's Club!\nPCC flagged and bagged\nEquipment: Comps & Ported Barrels are OK\nShooter's Briefing at1000 hrs.\nEXCEPTION: No Sig P320 / M18 /M17 All are PROHIBITED for ASI at Paul Bunyan.\nNo walk-ons\nIf match is full - there will be a waitlist.\nIf you are a new shooter to ASI or Paul Bunyan- Mandatory New Shooter Orientation at 8:45 am in Bay 1.\nStat window opens @ 0800 closes at 0945 hrs.\nPlease stay home if you are sick there will be more matches.\nMatches are 6 stages and plan on bringing at least 100 rounds of ammo.\nRange fees:\n$30 Regular\n$20 Range Officer\n$25 Paul Bunyan Member\n$15 Junior <18\n(Cash or check made out to Paul Bunyan)\nUPDATE: 4/21/26 Equipment Check protocol for Handsized Guns:\nIf you have signed up for the hand-sized sized handgun division – please be aware we will be conducting equipment checks in Bay 4 starting at 8:00 AM. Bring an empty magazine along with the handgun. Once the gun is approved for hand-sized status you will be given a green ticket which you will present at the Stat Shack at check-in. As a reminder\, the Stat Shack closes promptly at 9:45 AM –be sure you allow for enough time to complete equipment check prior to Stat Shack closing.\nForget what entails ‘hand-sized’ status? See below excerpt from the Practiscore registration page:\nDefining the\, “Hand-Sized Handgun”: To help ensure no shenanigans\, we will be basing our definition on IDPA’s Backup Gun (BUG) Division guidance with below noted exceptions.\nSize—regarding size\, the hand-sized handgun (pistols with the largest magazine inserted) must easily fit within the IDPA “BUG” gun test box measuring 6 ½” x 4 ⅝” x 1 ⅜”. *NOTE: “easily fit” means a slip fit\, such that\, when the test box is lifted off the handgun\, the handgun will slip out. While inserted magazines may be compressed flush to allow fitment\, we will not force a handgun into the test box.\nIn the case of Hand-Sized -Optic Division\, we will have a “BUG-Optic Box” –that is\, an IDPA-sized BUG test box with the top portion removed. *NOTE: Only the sights\, optic and irons (if equipped)\, are allowed to protrude out top of the Hand-Sized -Optic test box –the rest of the Hand-Sized -Optic pistol (with largest magazine inserted) must easily fit within the gun test box.
