DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY AM Steel Challenge Match 15 minutes south of Greenville....\n****** Important Notice******\nIn the interest of safety for all members\, guests\, and visitors\, Belton Gun Club is implementing a temporary ban on all SIG Sauer P320-based pistols being brought onto or used on club property.\nThis decision has been made out of an abundance of caution following a series of recent incidents and un-commanded discharges involving the P320 platform. In light of these events\, several government agencies and private facilities have also adopted similar temporary restrictions on the use of these firearms while further testing and evaluations are conducted.\nEffective immediately\, all P320-based pistols are prohibited at Belton Gun Club until further notice. This includes all variants and modified versions of the P320 platform.\nPlease note: This restriction applies only to the P320 and its variants. All other SIG Sauer pistols and rifles are unaffected by this ban and remain welcome on club property.\nIf you show up to the match with a Sig P320 or one of it's variants you will be asked to replace it or you will be withdrawn from the match.\n10am Start. Steel Challenge Shooting Association sanctioned Steel Challenge match at Belton Gun Club! Six official stages\, 145 rounds minimum to complete the match. All 13 official Steel Challenge divisions are welcome! (Centerfire pistol\, PCC\, 22 rimfire pistol and rifle)\n Match fee is $20 for first firearm\, $5 for optional 2nd firearm which must be in a different equipment division. $5 discount for BGC members\, Super Seniors and Distinguished Seniors on first firearm\nJuniors and full time student match fees are 10$ for first firearm and 5$ for second.\nCash payment at registration on match day\, exact change really helps.\nRegistration using Practiscore is highly encouraged. Go to https://practiscore.com and sign up for a free account\, and then search for Belton Gun Club under Clubs or Matches. We also accept walk-up registrations the morning of the match (if slots are available)\, but Practiscore registration is preferred.\nYou may compete in a maximum of 2 divisions at this match. If you choose to compete with more than one firearm\, they must be registered in different divisions and be registered separately.\nRegistration at the range starts at the registration table at the Competition bays (follow the signs for Steel Challenge when you come on the property) by 9am and ends at 950am. Shooting begins promptly at 10am.\nCash payment is accepted during registration the morning of the match. We do not accept credit cards\, Venmo or Paypal! Please try to bring exact change.\nThe Competition bays are located on the road to the left before entering the main gate at the clubhouse. The parking area is on the high ground above the bays.\nAll firearms shall be EMPTY at ALL TIMES! All rifles (.22 Rimfire Rifles & PCCs) must employ a chamber flag! This is an official Steel Challenge rule and is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Chamber flags are not used for .22 Rimfire Pistols or for centerfire pistols. Holsters are required for centerfire pistol divisions.\nThe official Steel Challenge rulebook (https://uspsa.org/viewer/SCSA_Rule_Book.pdf) is recommended reading for anyone unfamiliar with Steel Challenge\, particular emphasis being placed on Chapters 1\, 4\, 5\, and 8.
