SUMMARY:The Practical Games Lift and Shoot
DESCRIPTION:We decided to mix things up and add a very physical element to the shooting stages with our powerlifting buddies at Echelon Energy Drinks. These stages are designed to see who the most physically fit and capable shooters in the region!\nThese events will be done in competitors equipment they would actually be wearing in a combat environment\, unlike some "tactical" crossfit shooting events this will be focused on powerful movements and dynamic shooting stages with practical war time scenarios.\n5 Stages each with physical movements/ lifts and dynamic target arrays on steel and cardboard targets. Ranges from 5yds-300yds.\nNo weapon restrictions\, use the right tool for the job!\nCompetitors Equipment:\n- carbine and pistol (.308 and smaller\, FMJ only)\n- Plate Carrier with YOUR full load out\n- Belt setup\, Holster with retention\n-40rds pistol\, 60rds rifle minimum\n- Ear/ Eye Pro\n- Water Source\nTimeline:\n0830 Sign up Opens\n0900 Safety Brief\n0930 Range Hot\nUntil Complete: (est 3pm) Awards Ceremony\nWeapons will be unloaded at all times on the range until instructed by a Range Officer to load and make ready. You may load magazines on the property\, but do not walk around with a loaded pistol/rifle during the competition.\nSpectators are welcome and encouraged!
