DESCRIPTION:Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) Mid-Range Gas Gun Match in Parma ID.\nThis is a match designed to push the distance of your gas guns. Targets are generally 3 - 5\nMOA from 0 to 600 Yards and stages designed for someone using a rifle capable of ~ 1.5\nMOA with a 1-8x optic to be able to complete the course of fire.\nThis match is designed to challenge a shooter with moderate experience in a competitive\nenvironment. New shooters are welcome but understand this may be a difficult first match.\nThere is little to no reset which allows us to finish early in the day.\nRound Count: 20 round limit per stage x 6 stages = 120 rounds max.\nScoring: Time Plus Penalties. Targets are hit to move on unless specified. 15 second\npenalty for every remaining target. 120 second par time.\nDivisions:\nLight: 5.56 with 16” max barrel and 10x max magnification. Fixed parallax scopes only.\nOpen: Any caliber\, any magnification\, any barrel length.\nGear: One practical sized shooting bag/sandbag allowed as support from any position.\nBipods allowed. No steel core ammo. Match grade ammo is highly recommended as 55gr\ngets easily pushed in the wind and hardly moves steel targets. DESCRIPTION:2 Gun on the 4th Saturday in Parma.  Plan on 4-5 stages with about 10-12 rounds per gun per stage.  Setup at 0800\, be on time to help setup and stay around to tear down.\nIgnore shotgun portion for 2 gun.\nScoped Tactical—Rifle has one magnified optic on it.  Can have a muzzle brake\, can use extended mags and drum mags\, can have only one optic on it\, back up irons ok.  Pistol can use extended mags up to 140mm\, cannot have muzzle break or optics.  Shotgun must start stage with 8+1 rounds\, after start can hold more.  No box fed shotguns and no optics or muzzle brakes.\nLimited—all Guns same as Scoped Tactical\, except rifle may only have a 1x red dot or iron sights.\nOpen—Race division.  All the guns can have optics\, muzzle brakes\, extended mags\, mag fed shotguns\, rifles can use bipods and or bags. Bags must start attached to the rifle.\n2x4—super open.  Adds a 4th gun\, the PCC. Same rules as open\, can use optics\, extended mags\, etc\, etc\,  Must use at least 2 guns on every stages\, if there are clays they must be shot with shotgun.\nModern Optics-Designed to land between Open and Scope Tac.  Pistol: Holster rules are the same as for Tactical/Limited/HM (i.e. no race holsters). Use whatever pistol you want\, so long as the pistol with your longest magazine inserted fits in the official box with slide parallel to the top of the box. The maximum internal dimensions of this box are 9” x 7” x 2”. Rifle: Use whatever rifle and optics you want. A bipod is allowed\, but not bags or other support devices. Only 30 round magazines may be used. Coupled 30 round mags ok. Shotgun: Only a tube magazine is allowed\, and the magazine tube must be no longer than 24”measured from the front of the receiver. Loading must be by hand from caddies (i.e. no speed loaders). Optics are allowed.

SUMMARY:2026 Parma 1911 Match
DESCRIPTION:***Cut off date for shirts is 4/10/2026. ***The 2026 Parma 1911 Match will be held on April 2th\, 2026 at the Parma Rod and Gun Club.   This is an outlaw match that pays tribute John Browning and one of the finest handguns ever made\, the Single Stack 1911.  This exciting match is not for the faint of heart.  It will challenge you and yet it will be one of the most fun matches you will participate in all year.   This is a MAJOR power factor match and a Single Stack 1911 is required to shoot it.   9mm shooters will NOT be turned away\, but you may find yourself at a disadvantage at times.   All magazines will be limited to 8 rounds.  Stages will be entertaining and you will become intimately familiar with the term re-load.   Match fee will be $75.  This will include lunch\, an awesome T-shirt and a ticket for a random drawing after the match.  More tickets may be earned by order of finish\, helping with set-up / tear-down\, ETC.    While this is not a prize table match\, we will have some awesome prizes to give away. No refunds after April 1st.
